Splendid performance to enjoy as I read about the composer in a book called 'Quartet'. On a second listen, this time without book, I appreciated the way you have made this piece speak, rather than it merely being a recital. Many thanks. It is an interesting choice; if you were so minded, I would appreciate knowing why this and not some other piece.

Thank you for your kind words. As the set is such an attractive one and there was only one available recording (with a baritone voice), we felt it warranted inclusion in this recital. It’s great to see more and more of her music being performed now!
