Thanks! The recipes look great. I immediately made the yellow mustard. The hardest part is waiting for 24 hours before I can taste it. Yes, please make the horseradish mustard and the sweet mustard recipe video.

Thank you!!! Looks so easy and delicious! I have never seen red mustard seeds before. Where do you buy them?
@TheJaroudiFamily Жыл бұрын
Sometimes they are labeled red or brown. We find them at our co-op but you can get them on amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B083HQ4F11?asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.22ZRS8A96EAHY&creativeASIN=B083HQ4F11&linkCode=ssc&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin&tag=onamzthejarou-20

I use horseradish on so many things. I make a potato bowl with whatever veggies I have on hand and put tons of horseradish on it. Would love to have a homemade recipe for that.

These sound amazing! I love mustard so will definitely have to try them! Two quick questions: 1) can you substitute white wine vinegar for distilled white vinegar and 2) can you substitute red miso for white in the two darker mustards? Thank you!
@TheJaroudiFamily Жыл бұрын
I haven’t tried it with white wine vinegar so I can’t say on that one. However it will work with red miso swapped for white 👍🏻

Would it work to add warm water after refrigeration? The yellow is quite spicy and still thick but it's already been in the fridge a few hours. Could I add balsamic vinegar for extra sweetness without more date sugar? I have to limit my amount of dates. Also, my seeds, previously ground, are old. Maybe that makes a difference in the taste.
@TheJaroudiFamily Жыл бұрын
Wait 24 hrs at least before trying it.

What do you use it on? My old salami sandwich isn’t an option any more 😮
Hi Brittany, I was able to find yellow and brown seeds on Amazon, but could not find red. Any suggestions? Thanks

I love mustard,too. But to only last a couple of weeks, it seems like a lot. Maybe half a recipe would work, unless you put it on everything. But it's so easy. I never dreamed! Thanks.

It lasts for a few months in the refrigerator 💕

I have 2 questions. How is this SOS because of the sodium in miso? Can it be made without it?
@TheJaroudiFamily Жыл бұрын
Because the soy in miso protects against the sodium, it’s the only food that has salt that is safe and shown in Dr. Greger’s research
