This video is really nice addition. How beautiful the information represented and so crucial for us. Simple yet unknown. I didn’t know about this triangle. More in implementing it and it curved my appetite. I can eat so little and still not be hungers versus always felt bloating. My cells are celebrating for not getting these crap SOS. I hardly even put sauce. I’m craving the food as it is. Blunt. Pleasure to hear it. 💚🌱

Dear Chef AJ; you are my inspiration. I have taken oil and sugar out of my diet and have absolutely no cravings for these, however .. I sparingly still use minimal salt, I have yet to find a substitute for salt. Thank you for all you do.

AJ this is what I eat for breakfast almost everyday, eat at about 08:30 keeps me well satisfied till lunch (which is salad with lemon juice) at 12:30. Dinner (17:30) is always Beans mixed with 5 or 6 other vegetables, a baked Potato, rice, Barley, Quinoa, or Buckweat. It is the only added sugar I eat. I am not over weight with a BMI of 21.5. I am 65 years old. 170cm 62Kg Would appreciate your feedback. I Mix together. 1000 grams whole rolled oats, 100 grams Sunflower seeds, 100 grams pumpkin seeds, 300 grams Chia Seeds, 200 grams Ground Flax seeds and 100 grams Ground Sesame Seeds, 100 grams ground Poppy Seeds and 100 grams Desiccated Coconut. Once mixed I Store in the fridge. In a bowl I add 6-8 Dessert Spoons of mix with ½ a cup of frozen Berries (any Kind, my favorite are Cranberries or sour cherries) 1 teaspoon sugar and moisten well with any non dairy milk. Needs to be the consistency of soup. Refrigerate for 60 minutes to allow the Chia seeds to absorb the moisture add a little more milk and enjoy

@Mahtiah Hildrilae Read carefully, I eat 6-8 dessert spoons at a time, not the whole caboodle.

Fortunately the idea that cave men ate more meat than plants has been challenged. We know our ancestors were gatherer-hunters much more than hunter-gatherers. It was much easier to forage for plants than to chase down wild animals with spears and there was no refrigeration. The idea that lots of meat was available is romanticized.

That's absolute nonsense, and the research plant based advocates try to use to promote this nonsense has fallen apart under scientific inspection... Not only that, it's common sense... Most of our modern world was under an ice shield for 100k of years... And lastly, we hunted and ate buffalo, deer, fish, everything... Lastly, the vegan docs love to lie to their audience, it's a shame most people aren't smart enough to call them out on their lies...

How about flax oil if flax seeds give you gas?
@chelsea911
@chelsea911 5 ай бұрын
No. There are small amounts of omega-3 in regular foods like potato, so you dont need flaxseed for omega-3 unless you are eating a lot of omega-6 oils because you need these two essential fatty acids to be in balance with each other. If you're not eating oil you're not getting a ton of omega-6 anyway so no need to try to balance it out with more omega-3

I've been on plant base sos free for over a month, I am eating a lot more now only because I am not satisfied no matter what I eat. before that when I had oil and salt I was eating only 2 meals a day and was happier. Now I'm always thinking about food

@TheBandoury

@@CHEFAJ probably not enough. I will add more. For salt substitute I tried celery seed, but I don't like it. My food became bland, it makes my life bland, because I LOVE eating and chewing

Good points. “Cave men” ate meats, fats. Humans and even animals found sugar, salt and forms of alcohol to eat in nature. Humans have also cooked and baked with oils and fats for centuries. The problem is really found in HOW MUCH of it we eat on a daily basis. If we had to seek it out, it would be far less. Sugar, salt and fat are in every ready made food, so I think most people overload themselves unknowingly (even healthy eaters). Which brings the whole subject of food addictions, and what the food industry will do to make sure you can’t resist their tempting, and well planned recipes.
