I've made eight feature-length films since I discovered your channel quite a long time ago. You've been with me for my entire filmmaking journey! Thank you for everything you've shown me that is possible on a frugal budget.

I told myself I would get my feature script written this year. Gonna have to now, no better time! Cheers Frugal!

Your video could not have come a a better time for me. I normally shoot about 6 short films each year and I was the cinematographer on a feature a few years ago. Because of lockdown, 2020 was the first year in a long time that I hadn’t work on any film sets. This gave me time to look over some of my older scripts. One of my favorites had a few plot and character problems that are now solved and I am loving the story. I just started looking into marketing and distribution, this has been a weak point for many of the films I have worked on in the past. I plan to shoot a lot of the b-roll type shots and gather audio for the film over the over the summer and shoot the rest of the film in September. I can’t wait to see more about how you market and distribute your film.

Nice to see you are still active; the last video I watched was done at a family/friend's home before your family moved to Alaska. It's been awhile but I need to binge this weekend to get that "Frugal" mindset as I work on my next project after swapping "the good ole days" stores with a stranger at lunch. Good luck on your feature and thanks for all your contributions to the Indie Filmmaker.

Scott! I'm glad you are finally getting back what you love! Looking forward to the frugal hacks as well as the film! I just recently apply some frugal principals when I built my own big light out of a household 3800 lumen LED panel. About $45 ..... win!

Editing my third feature now - each one takes about a year of your life and at the very least 10k. I'm going back to shorts - each one takes about a week and $600 :-) Still, I'll watch your feature, so get crackin'.

FF can you finally confirm the script you are working on has something to with the long rumored "Son of Skywalker" (codenamed A new horizon before us) is actually going to happen this year by director PJ being filmed somewhere in Alaska. I hear they have brought in a lot of extras and at least half a dozen hotels are already booked and the shooting location is somewhere near Portage (Think 1985's Runaway Train backdrop)

Where have you been for a few months? I feel like you haven't posted in YEARS! But, apparently, it's just that KZbin wasn't showing them to me in my Subscriptions feed. Come on, what the heck? Guess I need to ring that bell!

great to see you again! I'm not sure my editing software, even on my spanky new iPad Air, is up to doing a feature length film. this is OK, as I'm mainly interested in doing music videos, what with being the Ukulele Ace and all that. I still get a lot of ideas and inspiration from your videos.

Here are 3 reasons why I shouldn't make a feature film: 1. I don't have money 2. I don't have the time 3. I don't have money

I disagree with the third reason, there are tons of features new audiences can choose from. The mobile satellite internet is not gonna change the market saturation.
