Ive owned 3 and sharpened probably 10x that many; they average 25 thou bte. Thin stock sure, but its not a great grind and not even remotely worthy of the "laser beam" reputation people have given it. For comparison, PM2s, delicas and enduras average 20 thou, my xm24 is 25 thou and my ad20 is 17 thou.

Huh…I guess the thin stock can be deceiving then. Yeah, I’ve always heard how “slicey” the Atom is and for the most part I think it cuts pretty well. This has put a whole new perspective on it lol. Appreciate the insight brother!
