It is about three sisters yet none of the actresses are named. Hmm Must have been the times.

Interesting catch! Hadn't noticed that. At first I thought it was because Laurence directed it too but then Alan Bates is mentioned as well. As you say, it's about the three sisters yet none of the female actors are mentioned, so it's a valid point! I recognise Joan Plowright but not the other two, unfortunately. I daresay I can Google the info but it does look like a sign of the time it was made in. 🙂
