I just recently got monetized myself, man. It's great to see a video on making money on youtube from a creator running a BBQ channel. You kept it real and honest here, thanks for that brother.

Love the channel JP! Long time watcher. :) Question. I just purchased the Lone Star 24x40 smoker and am considering picking up a charcoal basket from Arborfab (I also own the large WSM). Would the larger Arborfab basket fit inside the Lone Star firebox? Thanks JP and look forward to your response. :)

@@JPBBQ Thanks JP! After some discussion on the FB group, it seems like if I were going to use the big basket I would either have to cut a hole in the basket for the gas assist......or no gas assist. Decisions decisions. lol

Great video JP. I have always wondered how things work. Can you make enough to quit your day job or is it more like extra pocket money?
@JPBBQ3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Juan, appreciate the compliment. There is different platforms that people use KZbin for. They are many that do actually make a living solely on just KZbin. Then there are others like myself that use it to help promote their business and their brand. Appreciate you asking, great question.

I buy things off affiliate links often. Particularly when I see someone give a positive review of an item that I've seen them use multiple times.

Very good video. I’m not a video maker, but I watch a fair amount of content. I’d say it’s obvious, but sometimes it needs to be said again and again... content, content, content. The content needs to be what people want. If it’s not quite great content then you need to make it more entertaining. Ultimately, the quality of content determines success.

Appreciate that Brighton, Good to hear from you. Hope all is well. Thanks for watching and commenting and your absolutely right, The content is what draws the viewers and keeps them engaged. And again thanks.

Everyone should have an Amazon Affiliate setup. Easy way to make a bit of change before the partner program. You can start earning day one linking what you use already.

Hi brother how you doing I like to ask you I like to sale bbq smoker from home how I need to now how much I need to sale the food if you have any idea
@JPBBQ3 жыл бұрын
Great question, here is the general idea. Most people come up with the cost a little different. Here is how I do it. You want to charge enough to cover your cost of the product, add some money for labor and also add some money for profit. Hope this helps. Appreciate you watching.

How do you get paid for people who watch your videos but pay for KZbin premium to not see any ads? How exactly does that work, do you know?
@JPBBQ3 жыл бұрын
Not sure?. I would guess that KZbin pays the creator a portion of the proceeds from the KZbin Premium. But again not sure. Good question though. 🤔

@@JPBBQ well I watch enough KZbin to justify a premium family plan, so I'm curious.
