I love your style of teaching. I wish I could find a teacher like you. I am just getting back into guitar in my 40's and I feel like I can actually play again after watching just a few of your lessons. Merci beaucoup!

Thanks for this superbly clear lesson. You made me want to pull out the Telecaster. Yours looks and sound fantastic! Thanks again.

Thanks for this one! I've been playing it the way Clapton does it with the Yardbirds (mainly single notes on the riff), but the chords you keep on throwing in give it much more depth and sublety. Nice one.

Thanks for the kind words. I first bought a guitar back in 1992. I got a lot of help when I started from people who were kind enough to put up with my very limited abilities! So if I can give back a little bit, I am psyched.

Wow!playing this through the filtertrons and a tad of overdrive really gives ya the smiles.Moj i think this is one of those riffs that teach you things you can take into other areas.I have to rate this one as one of your more valuable lessons.{should i say essential}Cheers!

@MasonGuitarGuy Thanks for the kind words :) Strings too stiff: what gauge are they? Maybe a lower gauge would help? Also, it's a Gibson scale, therefore shorter than a Fender scale, which may account for the difference in feel? Be well :)

Mojo, Thanks for dissecting the intro to this song the way that you did, you made it WAAAYYYYY easier to follow. I have gone through all the vids and i gotta say that your style of instruction and teaching works better for me than a lot of others. Keep the faith and keep 'em coming. One request though (well, two actually), any chance you could do "Lay Lady Lay" and "500 miles", the original versions by HoytAxton ? He does them best. Anyway, thanks again.

great intro to the song mojo ... quick note: the "chord" you're playing between the Es and As is the middle of the G chord (well in fact the G triad), and this is a classic run from John Lee, think Boogie Chillin' ciao ciao for now
