The head I wanted is apparently not close to the one photographed that I wanted to use for Maggie. I am apparently back to the drawing board. I hope I find something I can use soon. I hate not being able to complete something when I'm motivated. LOLOL You have a great one today!!! 🙂

I sure know that feeling LOL. Thats why I always tend to get all the parts I meed before I start making a figure, and the head sculpt is the first part I start looking for. If I can’t find a suitable head then I just give up looking for the other parts. Drawing the character on paper and get all the details down from the very start is a nice way to create a «list» over all the parts that is needed. The head sculpt is always at the very top of that «list».

I can't believe I have no ThreeZero figures. I'm going to look for some now. I love the revolver. 🙂I like the weathering of the assault weapon too as well as jeans! It's got great clothing . . . love socks with boots, but that seems to be a theme with ThreeZero, the boots are not exceptionally flexible if I recall right. I think the head is good too despite having molded hair. Oh, I forgot that the arms don't bend well. I don't mind the holster set up. It's better than a connecting plastic piece getting broken.🙂 I agree with you. When get accessories you can't use and you have to pay more for it, I think that is not worth it. 🙂

Threezero usually does very good with their figures. Yeah, I hate it when they use seamless rubber arms and the internal joints can’t hold a pose. I also hate it when they use bendy wire instead of an actual joint. Its much better with visible joints instead. In my opinion these «hybrid» solutions are crap! Either go with visible joints or a fully seamless body, in my opinion. One or the other, because a mix (hybrid) doesn’t work all that well. Yes, Threezero does it right! No point in a bunch of accessories that gets left in the box, unless its a extra set of hands. Accessories you don’t use is usually money spent that you don’t get any display value from. Keep the accessories to a bare minimum and the overall cost on the figure down.

I am going to make a Maggie if I can find a close enough head. I definitely don't like the long hair. I just need to get close and then cut the hair. You're right . . . more folks should use rooted hair. It does give you more options. You're right about Michonne too. I can't find her in pieces. I've looked and looked and looked for a head, but I can't find one. The prices for the full figure are out of this world. I can't afford that . . . It's got to be a custom or nothing. Sigh. This is what hurts when you aren't up on things. I heard about the Walking Dead, but I never watched it. Now that I've watched it, I know what figures I want the most. You just don't know what you'll end up liking enough on a show to get the figures from the show. 🙂You have a good day dear friend!!!

Yeah, it isn’t easy to find the heads we want. I’ve found it very helpful to be on various Facebook groups when it comes to these figures. Sometimes people posts images of upcoming figures from various companies to keep an eye up for.

Yes, the head sculpt is everything I definitely agree!!! I may have one on the way that works, but I won't know until I see it. I'm getting good at getting eBay sellers though to be honest about what I'll be getting. I have a horror story I'll talk about in a bit on the channel. It just shows how far a seller will go to get to you and/or rip you off. I hate to say that he did so blatantly, but this time, there is no doubt that is what he tried to do. It's hard to interpret any other way. Sigh. Thank God, I always talk to eBay right away to get the situation resolved and as long as you sound reasonable, you'll be okay. 🙂

Got to be careful when buying stuff in eBay. I’ve been buying stuff on eBay for so long now that I’ve gotten good at sniffing out the bad sellers LOL. They will try just about anything to scam you. If a package takes too long before it gets shipped or the seller can’t provide a proof of shipping, and in addition starts to «explain» this and that, then I go straight to Paypal for a refund. I don’t even bother talking to eBay anymore. I contact the seller and if he/she can’t provide an explanation that I buy into, then redund it is then.

@@Eseres80 I have done that too, but in this guy's case, I really . . . really, and I mean really want to hold him accountable. It's a long story, but after the next two episodes I will describe the horror story. Sigh. It looks like he's going to have to pay for the shipping label back to him, but if he does not provide that in a few days, I will get a full refund for him by eBay. He's already asked me to send it back on my own which is against eBay policy . . . so it will be interesting to see what he does now. Regardless, he lied two times to me, simply misled me, or his "colleagues" told him they did some things they needed to do and did not. I'm going with the first interpretation on this one. Grrrrr! Regardless, free is free and he will be on eBay's radar now. 🙂Happy, happy, happy. LOL

Now that I am understanding these characters more, I have to say I like her in shorter hair. I wish they made an earlier version of her. She really turned out to be a great player in this series. I hope she doesn't die, but I'm learning anyone is expendable. Sigh. I really don't get why things are seamless if the clothing is going to cover things. That is pretty silly from my perspective "especially" if the price is higher. It's very frustrating I know. With Hot Toys, the clothing interferes with posing some figures, but here it is the fault of the body itself. Thanks for the review!!! 🙂Have a great one today!!!

Yeah, I don’t get why they went seamless on the arms either. They could at least have used a body with stronger elbow joints if they want to go seamless. Its even worse on the male bodies since the rubber sleeve is alot thicker on those. At retail these TWD figures are pretty cheap for a licensed 1/6th scale figure. They probably used the cheapest bodies they could find just to keep the prices down. I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra for them if they had used alot better bodies though. In my opinion there are really only two choises when it comes to these bodies. You either go fully jointed or fully seamless. These «hybrid» bodies are so crappy and I can’t stand them LOL. Whats the point of a body that has great articulation in some parts, but close to absolutely no articulation in other parts of it… Hybrid bodies are only good for one thing in my opinion, and that is target practice if you own a gun!

I didn't think about FB actually to help with finding new heads. I am always a day late and "maybe" the original heads looked like the photos, but the copycats fall short is my guess. I think I found a head for her. I hope so anyway. We shall see is all I can say. She'll be a while though since it will be coming some distance. You have a good one today!!! 🙂

There are groups on FB with great artists that make head sculpts. Ever so often I see them advertice for people to see if there is enough interest to take a head sculpt into production. There are also groups that posts pictures of figures that are in the works and will be released in the future. I tend to keep an eye on those groups just to see if there is something that I want coming my way. In some groups people are also selling parts and used or new figures. Being a member of certain groups may pay off sometimes.

If you didn't want to body swap you could mod this body and cut the sleeve off just under the shirt up to the shoulder to give better articulation. Think a phicen would be better articulation but head looks either bit big or sitting low giving the look of a short neck. I know you will probably get a phicen for maggie and michonne😂

i’ll probably just do a body swap to be honest. The neck peg on the stock body is a bit bigger than on a Phicen, so it needs some modding but it will work. I tried it on a S09 body already. I might have to see if I can get another Maggie head though, because the sculpted hair really hinders the articulation. Getting a Phicen body for Michonne will be more difficult, because it needs to be dyed and Im not dong that myself 😅

I would get Maggie if she had shorter hair . . . I'm not liking the long hair look. 😞The outfit is nice, but I just wish she had short hair . . . actually medium length hair. Ooooo, you got the knife in. I made my sheath a bit too tight for Daryl!!! Glenn looks pretty good to. Like I said earlier, I just don't like the outfit for Carol. I so want Michonne. The posing is tremendous!!! I would call the arms exactly what you called them . . . they are like sleeves. Pfftttt! Not good at all!!! Have a great one today!!! 🙂

Yeah, I wish they had used rooted hair insted of molded. When the hair is long you can’t really do much with the head as far as posing goes. I don’t think that certain companyes think that far ahead when they make a figure. Maggie does have shorter hair during the show, or even ties it up. Why couldn’t they have used one of those looks for her to keep the ability to move the head is beyond me. Im sure you could stretch the sheath out a tiny bit if you made it out of leather. But then again, the knife will probably stay in the sheath for the most part anyway. Glenn was one of my favorite characters in the show, so when I got him I certainly had to have Maggie LOL. Michonne is probably going to be quite the pain in the but for you to get. I tried to find just the head sculpt for her but no luck. I thought about getting a extra figure just for the head, but heck if Im paying those crazy eBay prices for her. You will probably have to be on the look out for some 3rd party head sculpt if you can find one. These rubber sleeves somewhat works on a male figure, but not so much on the female ones. The arms are just too slender and the ratchet joints in the elbows can’t stand up against the stiffness of the rubber sleeve. This is why I always prefer either to go with fully seamless (TBLeague) or visible jointed bodies. Hybrids are a no go for me.

Managed to get through all of the seasons of the walking dead. Was a bit of a slog towards the end. Wtf happened to rick😂 apparently him and michonne gunna have a spun off series🤪 This figure has a descent likeness to Maggie terrible body and could do with being a bit taller compared to glen. Talking off glen they should of done a 2nd big eye headThey could off included it with this release as an exclusive 😂 Think they are being a bit lazy using the same body for Maggie and carol. Was a guy selling a michonne locally for 80 pound was tempted to get it, great character.

I still haven’t watched seson 11 😅 Yeah, I was pretty sure that Rick had survived even before they announced the spin-off series. It was just way too appearant in my opinion 😂 Guess I’ll fnd out once I buy the remaining seson 3-11 on DVD and maybe a few of the other TWD shows. Pesonally I don’t care much for the scale to be honest. Most of the figures aren’t even from the same damn seson either. The figures are what they are though, and most important to me is to have the characters 😄
