I sewed a skirt with a zipper and pockets a couple months ago and it is possible for the zipper and the pocket to be at the same space. It's a bit of a pain but you can start sewing the zipper to the front big piece from the top and then continue on the back piece of the pocket if that makes sense.

The back of the neck is pushing out as that is the way the center back leg seam was when you laid it out. It wasn't flat-flat. Review your video. It jumped out at me when I saw it and wondered where it was going to affect the project. timestamp 0:56 You can correct that with some fussy picking of seams to open that area from the bias tape finish. Opening the back neck back seam enough to get it flat or take some tiny tucks on either side of that seam to flatten it. The bias binding might need a tuck taken to make it fit again. You can do it.

Yes, I noticed that, too. I vote for two little tucks to the left and right of the CB seam. As it's covered by hair, that might be a good compromise between leaving it as is and picking the seam open and everything.
