A friend of mine got some new blinds, so she gave me her old real wood blinds. I use them all the time. They make great wood slat signs or planks on a tray.

I love the sewing machine drawer!!! My brother trash dug and had one sitting on his carport!! I begged him for it. He said he was going to use it for junk screws!! It’s been sitting min my pile for a few years.. renovating my farmhouse and keeping a few treasures for the end result!! I love love your ideas!! When you used the lid from a tin to make a base of the cloche, it made me think of the lid from another tin, painted it with your baking soda mixture and glued it to the top of a candle holder. Bet a cloche base made from a lid of a tin and painted the same way would be cute.

The little drawer with a small round knob on it it’s a drawer out of an old vintage sewing machine cabinet my grandmother had those I would love to be able to find one and deal with it once you have done with that one keep up the good work. I just wanted to share something I found out about removing veneers, years ago. A steam iron works great at removing the veneer completly with a putty knife but be sure to use an old iron ( thrift store) place a damp rag in the area you are going to work with and set the iron directly on the rag. You may have to repeat some areas but the hot steam releases the glue.
