Milk can "thin out" a coffee. The creamer can add a richness and body to coffee. We have powdered creamers that are usually nondairy, we have refrigerated liquid creamers, we also have what's called half and half, which is half cream half milk. Real cream is created when milk is churned. If you stop before it turns to butter, it becomes a cream that can be drank and whipped into meringue or other creamy dessert toppings. Whipped cream is popular in pie here in the states.

Fun fact about the West Germany stuff: the vase is actually from the Scheurich factory that started in 1928 that still exists and still makes vases and such. West Germany is actually a kind of style of vase, they're usually made in a certain way, by a few factories, and almost always in Germany, but also one in Austria. The vintage ones very sought after by vintages lovers in Western Europe. The numbers on the bottom mean model number and then the height of the vase. If you want to determine the age of the vase, you can try to do so with the sticker that's on it. The brand used different stickers throughout the years, so with some internet digging you can probably find out if your vase is vintage or from a more recent line. The little glass bowl I actually don't really know anything about. There is some West German glass/crystal, but that more than often has cut details in it. So maybe that one's modern, but I'm not sure.

That Arizona can is pretty standard for the brand, there's only a few types of drinks that use that sort of can. It's mainly Arizona, Peace Tea and then certain types of alcohol. That is not a standard sized can for most types of soda.

Yeah, the American snacks are not really a thing in UK and I would assume Australia, too. They are like novelty items because they have such weird flavours. America seems to have loads of flavours for Oreos, Ben & Jerry's etc. But here, there are very few. We had a novelty American candy shop, and the prices were all extortionate. My guess is that the sugar content means there is a hefty tax on it, along with import tax.

We actually have it here in Australia... But they only sell it plain... And I don’t think it’s that popular as most aussies just put milk in their coffee. I’ve never had it myself, but I see it in the supermarket. I’d love to be able to try the flavoured ones.

Anyone in the comments saying someone is saying something “wrong” is just not well traveled. Ignore those ignorant comments.
@heybearnation3 жыл бұрын
Not really. There are variations in how to pronounce certain words but there also are wrong pronunciations. Period. Just because someone has a bad accent or isn't fluid, that doesn't mean their pronunciation is correct.
@kirinchimera47073 жыл бұрын
If you understand what a person was trying to communicate no matter what accent they use to pronounce it, then they have communicated effectively and correctly. How do you pronounce Adidas? Phonetically or colloquially? How do you pronounce Joseph or John if your accent or language pronounces J’s as h’s or y’s? All pronunciations are correct if the people communicating have the same understanding. Even sign languages have accents.
