My mom made those chicken basket covers for over a basket , put biscuits into it & you reach under wings to get out a biscuit , she made matching chicken potholders , & a matching apron that had button on each side and it turned it into a bonnet like little house on the prairie.

Grandma always used one over a round bread basket to keep rolls warm. Take them out under the "wings". Not sure of the real use. You could probably put it over an egg basket too.

Hi Julie, great video! For the little wire basket with the round handle you thought you might stain. An idea if you should decide to display the basket in your kitchen, you could sew/not sew a little fabric wrap, attach with velcro using your fabric scraps leftover from your other projects to match your fabulous decor.
