I live outside of Atlanta and grew up watching Channel 2. 37 years later and not much has changed. Hope young people watch this and see how our media and government keep playing by the same ol playbook. Nothing ever gets better.

Me too I was born in Atlanta and still living there. I was a tear old. I watched it on primestar at my grandmother's house before those stupid laws came into effect

I was 3 years old at the time, and my grandfather died a month prior to this newscast recording. Brings back memories. I've watched channel 2 (WSB-TV) growing up, and I remember Patrick Crosby before he left channel 2 in the mid-90s. I remember watching over the years names like: Monica Kaufman Pearson, John Pruitt, Don Farmer**, Chris Curle, Vic Carter, Pam Martin, Glenn Burns, Chuck Dowdle, Karen Minton, Sandra Bookman, John Alston, Stu Klytenik, Kristy Deer, Lisa Tutman, David Chandley, Carol Sbarge, Jovita Moore**, Jorge Estevez, Justin Farmer, Wendy Corona, Linda Stouffer, Sophia Choi, Karyn Greer, Brad Nitz, Zach Klien, Brian Monahan, Lori Wilson, Fred Blankenship, Heather Catlin, Mark Arum, Ebony Deon, Mark Winne, Tom Regan, Richard Belcher, Sally Sears... plus other names that were there for many, many years that have since left, and some have since passed away too: Joyce Oscar, Lynn Harasin, Don McClellan**, Jocelyn Dorsey, Bebe Emerman, Marc Pickard, Jill Becker, John McKnight, Johnny Beckman**, Diana Davis, Jeff Dore, Ross Cavitt, Dale Cardwell, Clark Howard, Jim Strickland, Lori Geary, Shaunya Chavis, JaQuitta Williams, John Bachman, Erin Coleman, Jodie Fleischer, Vince Gerasole, Alan Wang, Gulstan Dart, Jonathan Seirre, Dennis Cauff**, Terry Anzur, etc. ** indicates a deceased talent.

I hope y'all will reply to this I miss Oldsmobile my Great Uncle Phil and Aunt Dora had a red Cutlass Supreme...I'd like to go to Atlanta I'd like to see the Coca-Cola plant and museum see a Braves' game and go to the King Center where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his wife Coretta are buried...Martin Luther King, Jr. was a good man Jeff told me he got rights for whites and other minorities as well as blacks

Yes, fairly recently. Here in GA, the Goodwills don't sell homemade tapes, but Value Village does. This came from Value Village.
