Seeing all those gorgeous gowns at the first shop gave me an idea… what if (after you have a breather from all the thriftmas content) you did some sort of thrift/styling thing for the whole gang. You could do dinner or DnD or whatever at your house and have a specific theme -anything! Maybe “hamptons” or something to match your decor… then either a) you set out to find a thrifted outfit for everyone invited that fits within the theme, or b) you give your pals a budget and a challenge to find a thrifted outfit based on the theme! I’m sure you have a ton of content ideas, but those gowns got me thinkin! Thanks for all the thriftmas content, Alex! Take care!!

There's so much more intrinsic gratification with thrifting vs retail clothing .... if I thrift something 10 outta 10 it becomes a forever favourite and doesn't end back at the opshop....vs things I've bought from a mainstream fashion store .. it's replacable.. it doesn't hit that spot...it was easy to obtain . . Really love thriftmas so far! Helpful tip for the tag problem at 6:38 is to heat up the area where the tag is using a blow dryer. Blow hot air on to the area for a bit and then try peeling the sticker off, it works like a charm. I use this trick all the time for books with stickers on them :)
