I'm so excited about this Wish Haul! I bought a bunch of hair curling gadgets from Wish.com - there's a hair straightening brush, a wireless air wrap hair curler, a Kardashian mermaid hair curling wand and a heatless hair curler from Tik Tok. What do you think about the results from the products?

Literally in the directions that she read out loud it says as you dry your hair. I was facepalming a bit... It is essentially a hairdryer with a brush on the end. Edit: also the fact that she doesn't use a heat protectant while using heat styling products when she knows how damaged her hair is makes me cringe

I think the bangs would be super cute! When you straighten them, rather then just holding them straight out, try curling your wrist a little from the top to almost the ends and then go directly downwards. I have to do that with mine too! Hope it helps☺️

Hey girl ! Your hair is not damaged beyond repair ! Not even close ! I've brought hair back from jelly! ( it's a process) there are many products but what you need is a bond repair treatment, to repair from the inside out ;) I think k 18 would be ideal for you :) but girl ...totally salvageable!

One advice about the brush is to store it upside down, resting on it's tip. Because with time and heat the bristles will bend and deform if it's stored laying on it's side.

Alex, a tip for your contacts to not stick to your fingers is to make your fingers as dry as possible. Contacts stick to the wetter surface, so have your fingers be dryer than your eyes. Hope it helps (love the hair chaos btw, big fan of hair experimenting)

Alex please be careful when purchasing electronics from wish. I heard they catch fire easily and that sometimes the wattage for stuff are past the regulated amount because they don't have to pass safety checks. Also that they may cause explosions.

@@breewashere well an explosion is a violent and fast movement of material due to pressure build up. A bomb or a bullet are controlled explosions, but don't necessarily cause fires. And campfires don't usually involve explosions. Most things, if flammable, can be set on fire without an explosion occuring. In the case of faulty electronics, usually fire or melting of materials (or electrocution, usually non-fatal) is far more common. Especially if there is no safety auto shut off to prevent someone leaving it on when they leave the house to go thrifting.

I absolutely love thrift shop videos. So many hidden treasures at (usually) affordable prices. I have stubborn curly, wavy, frizzy hair. I have tried products which promise to tame and civilize. Maybe they do, but not on my head. So watching Alex literally risk life, limb and housing to try out curling/waving tech is a fascinating experience which I do appreciate.

I would recommend using a straightening iron (narrow or suitable for curls) for beautiful curls! Strands in straightening iron, turn straightening iron 180 degrees, pull the strand through, voila 🙂🙌🏻! Quick, easy, no beep beep beep in the ear, no arm pain. I've been doing this for 15 years. I knew I had to comment when I saw the thumbnail, since I have the wireless air wrap curler. I got mine couple of years ago, tho not from Wish, but basically the same thing. I actually find it really easy to use and just few days ago curled my hair with it for my graduation. Few tips: Try to always charge it fully before use, since the battery isn't the greatest and it's a pain when it dies in the middle of curling your hair. It starts to beep and turns off when the battery is very low and close to dying. If hair gets stuck into it or there is too much hair in it, it will start to beep and it shuts itself off. I personally haven't had problems with it, but still, be careful. As always, thank you for keeping me entertained!

If you want a good and affordable blow dry brush, I really recommend the Remington Hydraluxe air styler - I got it about a month or so ago and I'm super happy with it! Hair looks and feels great, and it takes me 5-10 minutes max to blow dry my shoulder length hair.

Alex. I have a blow brush I picked up at Aldi for $25. It rotates in both directions with an easy thumb operated button. For someone with arthritis it is a game changer to blow dry my hair with out needing to use both arms above each my head,one for dryer and one for round brush. I start with towel dry hair and dry from underneath. It turns my frizz into smooth sleek mop with minimal effort. I LURVE it!

To make your contact-putting-in easier, get a bottle of saline solution. When you pull the contact out wet your finger and the whole contact with saline solution and then put it in, you can also put some into your eye before trying to put the contact in. I have very few issues using contacts. So this tip might help. Most pharmacy's will have it near the contact solutions.

Nah no hair tool is worth 500 to me. I can straighten and curl my hair w a straightner for $30 ...and if I want a blow out I have a hair dryer and round brush and I bought every tool for under 100 total..how is 400 more $ worth it to just hold the tool up and let it work vs u moving ur own wrist for same effect and keep 400 🤷🏻‍♀️

Seriously that silk wrap will change your life, I do the heatless overnight curls pretty much every time I take a shower. It’s super easy, super quick once you get the hang of it, and wears to the next hair wash really nice. I basically just have to unwrap and brush my hair and it so easy. I just use a robe tie but the silk is also super good for damaged hair and same with the lack of heat!!!

As someone who has and LOVES their hot air brush, the heat settings get hotter the longer you use it. Be careful using the hottest setting for an extended time, it will get CRAZY hot when you least expect it haha
