I had a hairdresser tell me a long time ago to limit washing my hair to twice week. If I could stretch it out to once a week it would be even better. I have been doing twice a week hair washes for about 20 years and my hair is healthy even for an old chick now. Can't wait to see your video with Andrea and Amy. Don't underestimate yourself, you are definitely in their league.

I used to avoid the mail like the plague. But guess what, it doesn’t make it go away. Lol. So now I open all the bills first, put them in a folder by date due and budget out how to pay them. Second I open all the other stuff, ie; junk mail. I either toss it in the paper recycling or if it’s for credit cards or something similar, I use a paper shredder. Now I no longer have mail build up, and have increased my credit score because things are taken care of in a timely fashion. For the moldy basket , try diluted bleach ( 1/2 water 1/2 bleach) and allow it to dry outside in the sun. Works for me.

That is definitely a picnic basket. The pie basket is smaller and square, but it does have the divider. There was a Longaberger diner in Dresden. They used their baskets as bread baskets on the tables. They ran them through the dishwasher. Real wood baskets can withstand a lot.

The time I told the Internet i don't shower everyday, omg they chewed me out. Mom of 4 , have been struggling with a chronic depression for a couple years now. Loving the Lord like never before but having a serious issue kicking this. I have faith he can only kick this with his strength, not mine! I've tried everything!!!! I don't shower daily, when I do shower I shower for about 2 hours doing everything!! Every couple days. No I don't smell, no Im not gross, my hair is down to my butt very high maintenance! My fiance is obsessed and Happy lol , my laundry is fresh/bedding. We do the best we can mana! Thank you lumi your awesome!!

I have totes and totes of Longaberger baskets I’ve collected for years. I lived less than an hour from where they were made. And I went on a bus trip it’s my sister to see how the baskets were made. She was a collector too. I love my baskets. I have them all over my house. And my shed is full of them.I wasn’t moving them without all my baskets. That looks like a picnic basket. The pie basket is smaller. I hope you have fun on your trip.

You can get clean without taking a full shower every day. For me, it just depends on what my plans are any given day. It's probably the same for any work at home mom. Right? Love your videos and look forward to hearing about your girl trip. You should have a little me time so enjoy!

Hi Kristen ..I don’t go on many girl’s trips either. I don’t like to leave my husband, but your trip with those girls will be fun. Yes, I have one of those mail baskets too, and I avoid looking in it til the last minute and then sometimes pay late fees on utility bills. Great find on the picnic basket…mold will come out with baking soda and vinegar. You make my day and I love you don’t edit out the funny things like the vinegar deodorant.😂 Hope you and your little one are better. ❤❤❤

I can’t believe how many women don’t shower 🚿 daily. It’s a must for me on days I’m working twice daily. I now wash my hair every other day due to menopause it dries out quicker. I feel nice after showering. But each to their own. I do love baskets 🧺

Baskets are great for holding stuff and looking great while doing so! I have a pretty extensive collection of Nantucket baskets (not the expensive handmade ones at $800 each, but the mass-produced ones) which I use throughout the house to contain misc. stuff. Because they are consistent in style and color, I feel like it looks more intentional.

You can stain your baskets darker. I water down stain and it works well.

The peanut shaped basket will hold 2 potted plants. I received one when my husband passed away. Also the big basket kind of looks like a laundry basket or to hold kindling for the fireplace. You might try vinegar to get the mold off the basket.

I think you could wash that basket with Dawn and vinegar mixed and then clean it. Also that one big basket with no cover you could use to put blankets in it. I have in the past have used Wood Stain on my baskets, and they turned out to be nice.. you can seal the stain too. Also that one basket that looks like a peanut you could put 2screws in it and screw it to the wall in a entrance to put mittens and hats in it..just a suggestion

What an exciting trip! I love those two ladies too! Step away from the bleach! Clove bud oil is your friend here. Mix a tspn salt and 10 drop of oil in a spray bottle, add water and shake to combine. Spray liberally and dry in sunshine. This should kill the mould spores. May need to repeat a few times.

Great Longaberger basket! I actually made a Longaberger basket myself at a home show. It was a natural color and over the years I decided to stain it a walnut color which is what I preferred. I love baskets myself and created a Pinterest page called "basket case". Love that you were able to get together with Amy and Andrea. I follow both of them on youtube and IG and they are beautiful women! I just love following you and so enjoy your videos!! (ps...a lot of people don't shower everyday)!! Use vinegar to get rid of the mold. I also saw a post on Pinterest that showed using water and vinegar mixture sprayed on the basket and place it in the sun to age it so it is not as orangey. I tried it and it worked. You got a great deal on that.
