I love that princess idea so much more than wearing stuff. That is a pants hanger as far as I know. The hook hinges down and it opens up the wood pieces. I'd thought about putting art in mine that I have.

You are precious! I’m 70 years old and I dressed my children and myself when they were young from Goodwill and Salvation Army. I always found nice, stylish clothing for my family at a fraction of the cost that my friends were spending. It makes me happy to watch you carry on this habit and I think you are so wise. What a fun mom you are to allow your little girls to be real princesses with your British accents. They will remember this always. You’re creating such special memories for them!

Hi Kristen! Nice haul! The hanger you asked about is meant to hang pants or skirts. You can hang them by the waist or hang the pants upside down at the ankles. You could also fold a table cloth and hang that. I have used them to hang art or small tapestries too.

I have thrifted my whole life, as my mom was an avid thrifter. She found so many lovely things through the years, and my first home was furnished with early and vintage garage sale items. When we could afford new, it was always on sale and then there was usually some haggling involved. Nearing 70 I still find the hunt exhilarating! I found four 4 crystal pieces a couple weeks ago, and all were flawless. Starting your girls young will provide hours of entertainment and many treasures!
@lynntorson1984 Жыл бұрын
Kristen, As another commenter stated regarding the wooden hanger, it is a pant hanger, you open it up by bending the hook back placing your pant legs between the wooden slats and lock the hanger back in place by pulling the hook back up and snap into place.

It's for a pair of pants, you hang it on the bottom where the leg comes out, not the waist. And the metal hook opens up, bring it down. And when you put the pants bring the hook up and close it ... Very cool.

Cute shirt, I came over from Andrea. I never knew about the bins. Some great finds. That rug!!! I have to encourage you with your sweet idea of candlight princess evenings. So dear. We used to hear, "knock, knock" every once in a while during dinner, back when our boys were growing up, my husband would go to answer the door, and return with a British accent, often as 'the Queen' or some Duke. He would use the time to talk about good manners, being kind, and such, before suddenly being called away. The boys loved it. Fun memories.

Hi. The second hanger is for skirts. I am unsure if you are aware, but it has a type of spring at the top. Bend the hook forward (or back, depending on which way you have a facing), and this will release the tension so the two slats come apart, and you can insert the waistband of your skirt. Once you are happy with the position, push the hook back up to tighten the slats. I hope that this helps.

How to help your children put their things away, always do it with them in the beginning and always make it fun….that my montra life should be fun especially for children…I remember one time I was at my nieces house and asked her son to put his clothes in the hamper…he was running around the house yelling what’s a hamper…well I couldn’t hold back my laughter and after that I felt so bad, not realizing that he didn’t know what that meant so so the “hamper” became a basketball hoop and he made all the baskets…I’ve never had any of my own children. But those precious nephews and nieces and great and great nephew and nieces just warm my heart…hope this helps…💗💗💗

Noticed the shirt right away . I loved thrifting my whole life because I’m nostalgic and I love to find things that I have great memories about . The older things tend to be really well made or like with art pieces there are styles of art that were produced during a decade that stops being produced in the next one . In the 1950 ‘ s my dad was really sick for a while and started paint by numbers , never stopped loving those old painting style , is my house full of that , no , but that style is a favourite still. Great video today , your candle story was so sweet , every mom has a little something that they do and our kids will never forget those moments . Blessings sweet lady .💕🎶💕
