This video made my heart grow like nine sizes. 6:51 Olivia, that $6 box is an absolute treasure. From what I glimpsed, it seems to be either part of an antique campaign travel desk, or a portable opium chest. Both are often built with obscured closures, for obvious reasons, so it's marvelous for storing anything you don't want found.

As a Latina I can relate to the "rice is life" sentiment, but I feel like we have a reversed opinion on rice cookers. Like yeah we have them and use them but it's almost seen like the "easy/lazy/incorrect" way to make rice. Basically all the moms and grandmas are working with stovetops and pots and give you that side eye if you don't know how to make rice "right".

Being Chilean I feel that the southern you go, the less rice people you find and you start to see more potatoes in your plate. I read somewhere that potatoes as a crop spread so quickly that nobody can know with certainty if started on Peru or Chiloe island 6k years ago. The purple small ones... Yum yum the best ones 😍

I laughed so hard at the rice thing. My bff is Filipino and her family has rice with EVERYTHING. She's the reason I invested in a rice cooker in the first place. ngl, best thing I ever bought. I regret not having one sooner. ^_^

I didn't realize how much I'd been missing that part of my life until I started watching your videos, so thank you for that

I’m extremely late to this party but I have to say I: 1. Love me a good thrift store video. I mean, look at you two getting SUPER creative! I like to be kind of minimal with my witchy stuff inventory but I love watching others add to theirs! 2. Am deeply impressed with Frankie’s knowledge of Roman/Greek deities and what they’ll like. 3. Love love love adoreeeee how you two share a very similar vibe while being pretty different. Your energy match SO well, at least from how you’re perceived on camera. I feel like you were born to make collaborations with each other.

I love getting witchy supplies at the thrift store, got a cute little bell and a lovely little cauldron-esque pot on my last trip 😊 it's so important to know that you don't need to go out and buy a bunch of stuff for energy working, people for centuries used what they had on hand or collected! Oh, I love this!! My husband is a vintage dealer so we are always at garage sales and thrift stores. There is an annual highway garage sale (127 Garage Sale) that runs through my hometown, and I always come back with some good shit. One woman had a whole box of glass candles (like tall 7-day candles) for 10 cents a pop. I also got a box of taper candles for $1, and vintage kitchen jars with lids for only a $1.. garage sales are where it's at!

Yeah this is more like a dollar store here in Australia, our op shops (thrift stores) would never have used or even unused candles. Some of this kind of stuff would be there, like glassware, crockery, jewelry etc. But even the biggest op shop I've been in (which I thought was huge at the time) was probably like.. a quarter of the size of where these two went!

I know this is an older video but I’ve learned a ton from watching thrifting videos. I bought a few things new such as my books that I’m using to make my grimoire and a smudging bowl etc but I found some very cute fairy garden items at a garage sale this weekend that I’ve decorated my altar with. A tiny bird bath is probably my favorite piece I found. I also found a book about crystals there for 2.00. I’m going to plan a trip to thrift stores soon to see what else I can find.

Once again, Interesting Tea Choice! I usually have kiwi strawberry tea with a little honey while reading my book "To ride a silver broomstick" by Silver Ravenwolf, it's one of my favorite. I also love how you shop at Thrift Stores, if you come to the northeast side of San Antonio, Texas, our thrift store is twice as big as your walmarts, and we have several across the city, from small ones to mega ones! I am crazy about Jasmine Rice, although I get mine in bags, one of those Ben's Rice where you cut an inch slit on the top at the sides, and nuke it in the microwave for about a minute, let it cool and serve with Chicken or beef fajitas.
