The ending has a dual meaning to me. On one hand, the audience could be clapping because it doesn't matter what an artist looks like (except apparently it does in Hollywood) it all comes down to the talent and the fond memories. But it could also mean that the audience doesn't care about the sufferings of performers, as long as they put on an entertaining show.

This has such a gorgeous and unique art style, quite liked how it was paced. I really loved the way this depicted one's spiral into insanity when it comes to many people's fear of aging, especially in women. It can be pressuring at times to look like your young self as you get older. Of course everyone ages, and not everyone's happy about that, but I feel like women are often seen as a target for businesses to sell off of their fears and insecurities of aging and looking older. I really liked that ending cause it kind of showed how celebrities are sometimes seen as a source of entertainment.

The art style is gorgeous, and the way she had naturally aged was very lovely. This shit happens in real life. People who dont feel good about themselves, get plastic surgery and come out looking worse for the wear. It isnt punishment. Its a very real risk of plastic surgery most women don't stop to even think about. So saying this person is punishing the main character for wanting to be young again says more about you then it does them.

Exactly. I think the film captures society's obsession with staying young and vital. Our society treats the old, especially women, as invisible, useless, and no longer relevant. Maybe people would be happier if we modeled other societies that revere and honor older people. I read an article written by a woman who included a photoshoot of her grandmother, and this lady was elegant and beautiful, and didn't do anything to hide her age. She just looked proud to be who she was, did what she could to preserve her health, and had a happy light in her eyes. And THAT made her beautiful.

love hoe the first impression changes of her as we see things from different perspectives. The end was kind of sad because it almost felt like she was still a slave to fame, even her struggles become a spectacle. I love it

I'm 18 years old. Almost 19. Aging has always been a fear of mine in so many aspects. I always thought that...after your body starts giving up on you one way or another...that's it. The end. But...after seeing this...I must admit..I'm not that scared anymore. Thanks and many many congrats to whoever made it
