I play this too but i dont use focus firebombs, i play it like and arcane mage using detonation mark, then launching all the instant cast spell. when you bursts it like 35k

Don't forget Weapon Mastery only applies to which weapon is your primary, so you aren't technically getting the defenses from Xbow unless it is your main hand.

Me too as he said for single target battleweaver deals insane damage I think Vs bosses almost strong as xbow/dagger I dnt have problem in open dung I metlt mobs before they reach me I m enjoying playing this combo

great video! can you record a video/short of doing the rotation for maybe 30 seconds to a minute? also how does this build fare in pvp?

Oh man, you're right! I should've shown what it looks like to put it into practice. Maybe I'll do a short on it! I won't make you wait for that though - you can mostly just spam as long as you keep that Priority-Filler concept in mind. Hit those priority attacks whenever possible and fill the gaps with the filler skills. From there it's pretty intuitive so you can't go wrong! As for PvP, it's 50/50 - you can pretty much blow people up very fast, especially melee players, but if you get caught, it's kinda over.

How do you use recoil shot when you dont have abilities that grant repulsive force on your ability bar?

@@tactonix4502 The dodge grants it, and you'll be using it a lot. I only just realized I forgot to cover the dodge in the skill list, whoops - sorry!

I was messing around with all the crossbow combos and this one was probably my favorite while leveling at least, i ended up going with longbow mostly due to the fact the bow looks cooler on my back then the staff but honestly it's kinda eh imo i think im gonna go back before i get too invested in bow cuz i know rerolling weapons is a huge pain. Overall i love the combo, you do a crap ton of damage, you can spam a lot as long as you use your mana skills, and the aoe is actually pretty good, yea it's not the best but its still much better than most weapons. Bot having a heal at all is a bit rough but hopefully the epic crossbow can help with that later in the game

I think I went through the same thought process in the Korean server haha. Staff/Crossbow is just so fluid to me and the feel of a class is always more important than whether it minmaxes in dungeons tbh and with the amitoi heal, it's usually sustainable _enough_ imo

@@ketsandhisgames yea tru i do hope they buff tho maybe add a heal to that staff frost teleport skill cuz it seems like almost nobody uses it 😂 although it looks cool Idk about now but when i was comparing them before i went to longbow dude the staff was melting everything in seconds it was insane, i killed one of the secret dungeon bosses super quickly and was a bit disappointed lol, but i think the combos just kinda crazy but ig its slept on because the survivability? Idk

im running crossbow and greatsword - lvl 50 - wondering if i should switch to the Staff 🤔 anyone have input on the idea ?

I personally think Staff/Crossbow works a lot better than GS/Crossbow just because you can use skills from both from the same distance without having to constantly move in and out of range. That said, play what's fun! The game is a marathon, and you might burn yourself out trying to minmax.

More sustain with greatsword/crossbow. GS gets a passive that gives health and mana on skill hit. Better in small scale probably but in large scale you can bomb like xbow/dagger can, just not quite as good, but tankier and more sustain to live longer with spin2win from the xbow and the GS passive I mentioned earlier.

Whats is better in PVP overall Bow/dagger or staff/dagger?

Tbh, these are *very* similar in how well they perform in PvP. Personally, I would say Staff/Dagger edges it out just a tiny bit because burning can help with easy damage uptime. Still, they're so close in terms of PvP that it's 100% going to come down to player skill so unfortunately, it's impossible to say one is better than the other for PvP. Try both and pick the one that's more fun!

What about your character stats?? What does that look like all maxed out. No idea how many points to put into what.

I talk about it in more detail at the start of the Gear section, but in summary: 24 points into Dexterity for more DPS, 20 points into Wisdom for more mana and mana regen, and 1 point into Perception as a little bonus.
