@@crunchydinkens2824 In such a case, it puts a new angle on their relationship. Perhaps Meve saw Gascon as another wayward son, of sorts. Makes his death at the gatehouse even more sad then. Which is exactly what happened in my playthrough. Fuck :'(

This ending still hurts my heart. Poor Villem sacrificed his own life in an attempt to redeem himself in his mothers eyes, yet didn't even have the time to ask for her forgiveness before he died. :(

So sad that so many people think that Villem NEED to die. He is a victim mostly, he just tried to be good enough to gain mother's respect all the way. best ending by my opinion is gascon death rly

Just got this ending, I like it a lot. Villem has a nice redemption, Meve with Reynard are cute couple and will rule justly and Gascon can do whatever he wants. Great game, shame now I have to wait for another Witcher game. Thanks xLetalis, cant wait for another Netflix Witcher critique.

@@elseggs6504 That explains alot. Cuz right there you are right. I saw much of him on Witcher 2. Hes tactical and wise for his decision without being dwell into madness. Also they didnt even bother what happened to the Witcher 2 characters like Iorveth, Saskia, John Natalis and more.

God I'm so relieved that neither Gascon nor Reynard have to die in this game and that I got this ending. They are the absolute bros, and Reynard and Meve clearly hit it off in the end, which made me so fucking happy lol, they're made for each other. Who cares about Villem?
