I prefer the option for Barnabas to handle the finances for that run-down town towards the end of the game. Nice conclusion for his character imo

Yeah, seeing as how he refuses to stay at court, and it was his own idea to stay at the town and it seems to be successful, that looks like the ideal ending. Also, in the same way of thinking, since Gascon leaves to be an outcast again anyway, it also seems ideal to let him die so that both Reynard and Villem stay with Meve.

- Eyck is a pain in the ass, throughout the campaign he leaves all of a sudden whenever you go against his code of conduct. - Rayla is probably the best card early-mid game. However, she did traumatize me when she massacred the young dwarfs while their parents were awaiting their return - Gabor and Barnabas are very likable and quite useful in any build - Isbel and Arnjolf are a nice addition - Gascon and Reynard deserve a special place in my heart

Gascon and Reynard are our true faithful partners, i would never do anything to disappoint them. Rayla is so full of rage that i didn't think twice sending her away, a person like this would destroy any possibility of diplomacy every time a nonhuman is involved. I almost gave Gabor up, but he was a victim to his clan and many people innocent people would have died if didn't kept his mouth shut. I like Isbel, even more when she became a destroyer. Eyck is a good addition to the group, he's useful whenever we find some monster related thing, but i couldn't kill that dragon, the beast was 300 hundred years living in peace with the dwarfs until they poisoned him, and i was following Geralt's code: never kill a dragon, so the knight left the group.

The whole tribute is nothing more than rackeetering scheme by a sentient monster. The Dwarves reasoning is plausible, if they don't kill her and her eggs, there would be more dragons that demand tributes.

@@cool06altI think seeing that as racket is a little harsh though not untrue. But at the same time, unless Mahakam has abundance of game, Keltulis (god, finally a dragon with a decent name) would need to find food somewhere. That would inevitably end in conflict with the Dwarves as she would hunt their game and perhaps their livestock to live. There wouldn't be necessarily more dragons, at least in Mahakam, come a certain age, dragons leave their progeny.

There are two character endings that you have missed. One is if you have eyck in your party and you made amends with Villem, he will tell you that you inspired him to talk to his son Siegfried again after he leaves. The other ending is to not get Isabelle Destroyer in the swamp by not asking about her past. When you talk to base Isabelle her at the end of the playthrough she says she will be a travelling Healer.

The beauty of the soundtracks in the Witcher III and Thronebreaker is one of the greatest parts of the those games. CDPR certainly know what they're doing when it comes to music.

Those last few seconds showing the final fight with daphy... Ugh I wouldn't want to play that match every again with his near infinite supply of cards. Had to make use of the cavalry cards. Well since it's the last boss fight, it really should be the hardest with some unfair mechanics. But you can easily outdo Dahy at it, using cards like the Aretuza or the Infiltrators you can cast more cards than he can and steal his buffs.

I got a different ending for Eyck, in my talk with him, he was gonna go to his son and apologize. I think you only get that ending if you talk to him about his family in every level.

I had the ending, where both Reynard and Gascon stayed alive. Villem died as martyr. Rayla left in Mahakam and Eyck disagreed somewhere with me in Mahakam and left, too. I never met Barnabas though...

In my playthrough Rayla left before Mahakam and I never recruited Eyck. Still all fights (other than taking Rivia castle - seriously the ability to respawn all killed cards is crazy) were pretty easy - isbel with either healing or nuke, Reynard to have all my recruiters summon another unit and slingers to kill another 3 cards, not to mention ballistas ... I regularly ended fights with all my rows full (and even had some card in hand) with opponent without anything or just a few cards.

That you kept Eyck and Rayla until the end is impressive in my opinion. I can hardly stand them both. Especially Rayla. Wonder if it's possible to improve relations with non-humans while keeping them separated from humans ?
