I am glad I found this channel. I also have a fifth GEN prelude. I’ve put a lot of work into it. It was one of my dream cars that put tears into my eyes. I’m not going to lie that made me really happy. Almost identical to the 99 Prelude I used to have, except mine had the factory spoiler, a different carbon fiber hood, and I had 18” Advanti Deneros on mine. Such a clean car! Congrats!!!!

I've owned two of these Preludes and have loved both. The attention to detail you guys give these dream builds is amazing. Like for instance putting undercoating spray on the undercarriage and repainting the strut yolk. You guys definitely gave her Lude the best treatment on the build. Shelby you are a lucky girl! I had the same car, got it as an automatic, the transmission failed, so my brother and I converted it to a manual. I drove it for another 15K miles and sold it for $3,200. Neither one of us are mechanics, there are a lot of Honda lovers who post videos, we did the entire conversion by watching KZbin videos. Very cool car (the one you guys are wrenching on).

Man, that year Prelude (along with the 90-93 Prelude) have always been my favorite body styles. I had a 1986 Prelude 2.0 Si (the first year for PGM-FI) and it has the A20A with the five speed manual. I have always wanted a 1993 Prelude with the H22A and the five speed manual, but they're hard to find in the northeast that aren't completely rusted or trashed by Fast and Furious wannabes. I was 18 when the first Fast and Furious came out and I had a 1992 Acura Integra GS at the time. It was black on tan, but I swapped a leather interior into it, I detailed the entire car, I put a full Sony stereo system with four Orion Cobalt 10" subwoofers in a custom enclosure, a Soundstream Reference 1000 watt amp, a Sony 10-disc CD changer, I slammed it with 17" chrome rims (cool at the time), and I built a turbo kit out of junkyard parts for it. The turbo itself was $50 from a junkyard and it was a T3 Dodge Daytona turbocharger and after I rebuilt it, the car made 257 whp at 15 psi. I had some semi-slick tires on the front with a LSD in the transmission and a 1320 Performance clutch in it. It was fairly quick and would take out most performance V8 cars in my area in a drag race, or even a roll race, but the only vehicle I couldn't beat in the area was a fully built brand new Ford Lightning with the 5.4 supercharged with full bolt-ons and a 5 speed swap. That dude would whoop on me every time. I blew my transmission trying to race him in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania. It was black with 20" chrome rims. Whoever you are, touche bud!

It's the whole package: looks, sounds, and driving performance! The only thing off, is the unwrapped door sills/jams. Everything is looking absolutely epic, until you open the door, and all you see is the factory red paint that doesn't match anything on the car anymore.

Maybe a gauge pod using some glowshift gauges. Water temp, Oil pressure , Volts just basics atleast.. Cheap and adds a very nice feel and atmosphere to the drivers seat.. Some Strut tower bars for the front and the rear would have been a good cheap upgrade..

When you decide to upgrade headlights i recommend using GTR LIGHTING headlights. Plus the lifetime warranty is nice. You would have gotten a better brake system with going with Cquence drilled and slotted rotors with aggressive pads. Also, Invidia has the same exhaust flanges. On the reveal youbcan see just how bad the cut lines are on the wrap. Its already peeling on the edges inside the door jam. If they wrapped the jams they could have hidden the fact they cant cut a straight line. All that aside. Super cool build
