Honestly other people are trashing on the video but its quite good helping with that specific issue. Maybe someone can help with mine? My screen doesnt turn on at all but if i pedal super fast it will. The battery lights up and charges so i think its ok!

Well. I brought two ecotric and my friend also brought 2. We each have a bike with this same problem. Sad, spend close to 4000 dollars on all our bikes with amenities and they don't work. On mine, the throttle, PAS, or KM (walk mode) does not work. I always ride on level ground but the day it stopped working I went up a small hill. Thereafter, for the rest of the ride, the throttle would engage intermittently and also PAS. I got the bike home. I have disconnected the wires from both brakes but still not working. When I roll the bike backwards it makes a motor grinding sound. I saw a video where the hub motor magnets can come off track. I will try that fix next. The wires from the brakes, to my understanding, are the two wires black and the other color (have it closed up right now). That is, front brake has two wires to connector and back brake has two wires from the connector both coming from the central wiring harness from the front of the bike brakes. It looks like Ecotric Commentor below is stating it could be the controller in a similar situation. I did swap the batteries out because I have two of the bikes and that did not make a difference. I believe something could be wrong with the hub motor itself. I tried turning off the bike, disconnecting the wire to the motor, and turning it back on. In sum, the when I turn the throttle I get a split second sound or movement which indicates to me that it has a connection to the motor but for some reason the motor is not engaging. Hmmm.

@foggyfields9378 I did. It was the throttle body. It's been a long time but basically it was a magnet in the throttle that was malfunctioning. I ordered the throttle and reconnected it to the bike and it worked fine since then. It's been a while but I recall I had to connect it to the black box below the pedals and since them has worked fine.

My ebike is a POS although I’ve got a proper 60+ ebike I have another one similar what goes 23 at factory I made it go 30 but the other day I got it out and the the wind flew it over and it damaged something. Tried this but didn’t work. Tried everything. So I think screw that bike just stick to my bike I always use. I only use my other one for small trips

ok so if you have a diy ebike with waterproof connectors (the 3 pin connectors) and your thumb throttle isnt working and has an error on the screen with controller report unplugging the throttle wont work unplug the controller it will go back to normal sometimes what will happen is the controller will glitch and when you hit the throttle it wont stop and when you shut the bike off and turn it back on it will say error 04H controller report its not a problem no need to buy a new throttle just unplug the controller and plug it back in

My bike is 7 months old, same as one in video but fat tire.....the throttle will work ONLY if you lift back tire off the ground. Try it again 20 seconds later throttle won't work lifting tire off ground. Throttle will NEVER work while riding anymore. All this started after brakes were adjusted. Pedal assist still working great. Can you help me? Maybe ECOTRIC could make better throttles?

I did all the tests and still the throttle is not working. I am 7 months in a 18 month warranty, so i called for warranty replacement and was turned down. Really ? I had to find a replacement and it works now.

Had the bike a few weeks-throttle not working even after the brake sensors were disconnected-I was told I need a new controller-I am now waiting to see if it does come-not a good start-lets see how customer service responds

i have the fat tire bike and ive had it only for 2 days now. Im having bad connectivity issues between the battery and the motor. i can not get the bike to turn on even with a fully charged battery in, and when i DO get it to turn on, the whole bike will shut off after the smallest bump. Hi so I received an ecotric and the brake levers when on wrong sides- so this required switching to correct sides and then after doing so the throttle doesn’t work- it lights up but nothing happens So now I have a new bike and it doesn’t work and I’m getting no help from ecotric Does anyone know what this could be and or how to fix?

☠️ I've been experiencing extremely dangerous episodes of the motor not stopping as soon as I turn the throttle , related to high humidity conditions ! I think it's because the humidity increases conductivity of the hall sensors in the throttle . can you recommend a good throttle ? I think the manufacturers are going to have to make them water proof. I experienced the same issue with a different throttle , battery and controller. just using the bike after a rain storm is enough to cause the issue. We must have a throttle will a switch to cut power ! ☠️ Also stop using hot glue on the Hall sensors ! It melts were I live ! And make the throttle not Fall apart so easy , and they need to be made with softer grips or made to accept normal grip's.

My throttle stop working out of no where. I was riding it fine for about 1-2 miles. Stopped for 5-10 to run into a store. Got back on my bike and no throttle power. I’ve done all the steps in the video. The brake sensors completely died, squeezing the brakes had NO effect on the motor. I removed both and replaced the front tire brake sensor. The sensor works fine now, and as intended. Walk assist works fine. Pedal assist works fine. The throttle is the ONLY issue. My bike is less than 3 months old, and has 196 miles. I’ve NEVER leave it outside. I was told by a local ebike shop that the issue was the controller wasn’t compatible with the throttle and lcd display/computer.

ONLY the throttle does not work or none of the throttle,pedal assist(please make sure you turn the pedal a whole circle) or walk assist(For S900,S700 display,please Press and hold the ∨ button for more than 3 seconds;for 810 display,please press and hold 6km button for more than 3 seconds ) does not work?

WHY? WHY didn't your helper mechanic hide the brake sensor wires to the controller? I said hide, because he did a terrible job of allowing viewers to identify the brake cutoff cables! How am I supposed to get some help from your video????? Can you at least tell me the colors for the left/right sensor cables??????

I tried all of these on my fat tire ecotric bike and none of them work what happened was my throttle will not push the bike, if the handle bars are pointed to the left but, when I turn right the bikes motor stops and the only thing not working is the throttle the peddle assist and walk mode work perfect and btw my bike is only 4 days old I’m surprised I’m already having problems but if someone could help me out that’d be great

You mean that when you turn left ,none of the throttle,pedal assist or walk assist working ? If so,please unplug connection that connect the brake lever and controller(It is the only 2 plugs that have 2 wires on each plug),then please try the throttle,pedal assist and walk assist,does them work ? If all of them are working,that means it has some problem with the brake levers,if still not work that means the controller is bad. If ONLY throttle does not work(pedal assist and walk assist are good ),it means the throttle is bad. You also said that when turn right, "the only thing not working is the throttle" , If the pedal assist and walk assist are all good,it means the throttle is bad. Based on all what you said It seems like some wires(the one connect throttle and controller or the ones connect brake lever and controller ) or connection is loose. you can un-twine the tape on the wires to make sure the wires is not broken somewhere. Normally,your problem will be solved within 2-3 emails if you can describe your problem clearly and provide necessary video or pics.
