What would you like to see on future episodes of FPV Trick Theory?

Would be nice to cover optimal camera angle and rates.

Power loops. You were nailing those loops around the hoop. I always feel so blind for the first part of the loop, and I'm just praying that I got enough height and back-throw to be able to complete the loop and not end up in the top of the tree (or whatever it is).

@@MarkJaquith Great news! I already have a power loop tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKuVpp2lmrWLmtE

@@TimmyRC Fantastic! Used that advice to fly four packs today, and I think I identified what I was doing wrong, which was not holding pitch constant until past the top of the loop. Almost like I was trying to "peek" too early, which of course just flattened the loop. Still trying to figure out how to loop closer. Probably gonna just have to resign myself to sending it through some treetops to get that dialed in.

I haven't flown my 5in in a while. But just started with whoops in acro. Took me 3 months to get my throttle management down. Now it's alot easier to hit gates.

Throttle management is the #1 most important thing when flying in my opinion. Every move is based on throttle. And nothing worse then watching a finished video and having random height changes. I was guilty of "pumping" the throttle when I first started, and it took me forever to break that bad habit. Great video!

Yess... Graphical stick overlay is better to see stick movements

Nobody talks about this, so . . framing and timing next. If you film, those affect your aesthetics a lot. If you go too fast or don't frame the objects correctly, your flying can look sloppy, uncontrolled. Also, you can make very simple tricks look very bold with proper timing 😁

Are you mixing in yaw for most of the Split-S you're doing?
@TimmyRC2 жыл бұрын
I don't think so, but if you mix in a bit of opposite yaw it will "flatten" the half roll if you want it to look more like an airplane split-S
