14:17 Hey guys, Lexus Tech here. That beeping sound that happens in the drivers seat when you move it is actually something that's supposed to be removed during the GX PDI process, but all Lexus cars from factory come like that. I believe it's there to remind the tech doing the PDI to set the seat memory, so when it isn't set, it just beeps when moving it. All they had to do it move the seat through all of the maximum movements possible in the seat control, and it'll go away. Always love the videos guys, keep up the good work

Kinda right, kinda wrong. It’s a reminder that the seat ecu hasn’t been initialized. The seat memory function doesn’t work til it is initialized. Also I’m sure setting the seat memory isn’t part of the PDI process.

The beeping that happens when you adjust the driver's seat is the warning noise that tells you the memory seat is not initialized. Usually its initialized during a pre delivery inspection.

14:10 Former Lexus mechanic here! The seat is making the beeping noise because it has not been initialized yet. Functions like seat memory and easy exit will not work until the seat has had the initialization procedure performed. Hope this helps!

That's awesome to hear about the engine not being too stressed. When I'm on the freeway going 70 mph the LX is sitting at around 1.8k RPM. It feels like it's just relaxing the whole time. I love that and would hope it stays that way in the new GX and LX.

The seat is beeping when adjusting because it hasn’t been calibrated yet. You have to move the seat fully forward, then the back seat bottom moved down fully, then the front seat bottom lowered fully, then the seat back moved foreword fully. That will calibrate the seat and it won’t beep

At 14:24 the reason why your seat beeps as you adjust it, is because it is not calibrated yet. The memory seat function does not know the limits of the seat therefore is unable to determine its position. To calibrate it, move seat to the extremes of each axis. Then the beeps will disappear and it will be calibrated.

17:20 I agree. I hate that I have to make multiple screen clicks in my wife's car for heated seats. But if they are a fixed button on the screen...then why not put a flipping physical button in.

Before I even watch the video the first 2 minutes were AWESOME 😅 love it. Now back to the car review. I hope it's a good one
