Your friend from Georgetown. From 1989 to 1999 I was there to help set up for the show at the Frog Follies. I also had been to the E-ville Iron club meetings, I met Army Armstrong at one of the meetings In 1989 the registration was around 400, my last show they were around 5,000 registered. This is also where I bought my 1935 Ford Tudor slant back from a friend in Evansville. I had a friend from Hatfield and we would camp out on the fair grounds every year. Frog Follies was the car show that I liked best of the five large shows I went to every summer. By the way I still have the 35 Ford, it has not been out of the play room since 2005 when I had back surgery.

Very cool, man, those were the good ol days. I remember those days well at that show. Yes, definitely one of the better shows to go too. Hope you start feeling better soon so you can get that 35 out on the road!

I can tell you who would buy that 1956 Lincoln it would be Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. That car would be right up his alley because it is the kind of custom cars he digs. He went to a car show one time in Louisville KY seen a rat rod truck driving to the show pulled the guy over and bought his truck right off the street.

So many cool 😎 cars. Nice bucket at 46:40. 2:10 66 GTO if I had it $ I would get it. Same for the 68 28:15 in this case I think I would go for the 68. 31:36 I had a shot at my 1st car for$600 bucks, a 68 442. It was red, black conv. top like that Cutlass. But I had to pass. I had no experience with a 4 speed and the guy had it so wound up I was afraid I would wrap it around a utility pole. 29:51 My Dad's first car was a 52 Chevy that same color he bought it new and had it with him when he was stationed at Cherry Point NC. 42:26 that trunk is so big the whole family can save money on a hotel.

That 46 is what frightened me about class cars. That cancer rust. You sand that down and put new paint on it. It will come right back, it's too deep in the metal and to much rust and you will see bubbles popping up in the paint. I have see it on classics on car lots . A couple 1940s to 50s ford pickups with new paint doing that
