Before you use Speed Shift EPP, you have to go into the TPL window and enable Speed Shift. When Speed Shift is enabled, you will see the letters SST in green on the main screen. When Speed Shift is not enabled, changing the EPP option will not do anything.

Good video man. I have i7 8750H with GTX1060 6GB, but my valorant is running only at 60-70fps where I should be getting 160-170fps. I searched a bit and got to know it was thermal throttling so I undervolted it to-140mV and limited power to long power to 30W (which I found the is the standard for i7 8750H). Im getting 110fps now but the stress test still shows thermal throttling and CPU caps at 2.9GHz where it could go up to 3.3GHz. And after undervolting it is power throttling too. For the first few hours, the game was running fine at 110, throttling didn't cause problems, but after a few hours, my game started to crash. Can you help me out please?

Plz reply i have core i5 8250u @1.6ghz turbo boost upto 3.4ghz.....in throttlestop fivr setting can i set 3.4 for first two cores and 1.8 for the next two cores?????is that possible is that safe.....i found a lot of decrease in temperature but i want to know is that safe or can i use like that

I'm not sure that you can set the boost speed for individual cores. However, what you can do is to set your CPU to boost to a particular speed when a certain number of cores is being utilized. For instance, you can set it to boost to 3.4ghz when 1 or 2 cores are in use, while also limiting it to only 2.8ghz when 3 or more cores are used. You can do this from the "Turbo Ratio Limits" setting in FIVR. Let me know if you require any further assistance.

@@ConfyScenty does that reduce temperature???? .......im saying about the setting when you open fivr and in the left side corner you will have core speed adjustment for all cores indivudually thats why i asked is it safe to set 34 for core 1 and 2....and 18 ( base clock speed) for 3 and 4th core...

Yeah. It's safe. It reduces temperature to a certain extent since it also slightly reduces performance. If you want a better reduction in temps you could set it to boost to a value that's less than its factory boost clock, say 3.0ghz when 1 or 2 cores are in use instead of 3.4ghz.

There are a couple of programs that you can use to monitor your CPU during tasks, programs like HWiNFO64, HWMonitor, or even MSI Afterburner paired with Rivatuner. You'll find lots of tutorials online on how to use these programs.

You don't need to uninstall Throttlestop, I don't think it installs any program into your PC. To undo whatever changes you've made with it, you simply have to turn it off by clicking on the "Turn Off" button on the main page of the program. Then delete the Throttlestop folder (I mean the folder where the .exe file is stored). That's it. Please I'm sorry for my late reply, I was offline.
