Whenever I hear you guys or any “rock n roll” bagpipe group, I am amazed by how well you guys are in tune. I think it’s legit intonation too. No pitch correct that I can hear. Phrasing of melodic and harmony lines are absolutely mirrored and in sync. You pull off an amazing trick difficult to pull of in your families of instruments - 😊intonation!

​@TroySavary i have played violin, piano, guitar and flute and Violin was the hardest instrument by far for me. Of course they all take time and practice to get good at but Violin takes so much more patience than many other instruments. I can't speak for the bagpipes as i've never played them tho

I think there are a few symphonic and folk metal bands that use traditional instruments, like bagpipes. Eluveite springs to mind, and I know Nightwish used Irish bagpipes on the "Endless Forms..." album. But yeah, any instrument can be metal - from bagpipes up to a full philharmonic orchestra.
