So a lil backstory about this Album. This was her 1st album with her new contract with Island/Def Jam Records (a subsidiary of Universal Music Group) . Her previous contract with Virgin Records was terminated by the label after the Poor album sales of Glitter (which was unfortunately released on 9/11/01). She surd them for breach of contract and was awarded around $27mil. She was approached by her friend Antonio L.A. Reid ( formerly of LaFace records, co-owner with Babyface) who is in Charge of the the label and she later signed with Universal. Highly recommend watching the Music Video for this song (its especially personal to Mariah) This album was also a tribute to her Dad, whom had recently passed away from Cancer.
