The rocky coast of Maine, will not disappoint. Thunder hole in a choppy sea is amazing one may get wet. There are no large bill board advertising signs in Maine , all signage is regulated. I truly want to return someday. You have rekindled many of my memories.

Hey Josh! Just watched Day 1 on YT on my TV. Had to come over to my desktop to tell you. My heart was in my mouth!!!! I actually shook while you were climbing the Precipice. I give you a lot of credit for actually filming while climbing. That must have been quite a task! You earn a gold star for this one man! And Pops can do no wrong in my book. He is a trooper! Digging his bigger part in your trips. Good job Pops!

Firstly , those steep climbs are just mind-boggling...narrowest of ledges , rocky terrain ..But the views are absolutely spectacular ...Swathes of mesmerizing splendor ,slopes bedecked in stunning autumn palette and miles of soothing blue complemented beautifully by a storybook setting...The sunrise and sunsets were equally stunning ...Beautiful skies adorned with hues and shades of red gold glory generously brushed with Nature's lovely paintbrush dipped in a glorious palette of Natures choicest colours ...Captivating views of foliage framed by autumnal tree branches and an aqua expanse...Loved the viewing...Thanks for sharing

I forwarded it to family that will be coming north in June. We will be staying in Southwest Harbor as usual in recent years. I like that you had good video and description of the Precipice Trail. That trail will be closed until mid-July but I wanted family to see what they will miss this June.

What a great video on Acadia National Park! You and Pops sure crammed alot into 36 hours. We were there for the first time in June for 3 nights and didn’t do nearly as much hiking. Couldn’t get reservation for Jordan Pond and were traveling in our RV so there are significant limitations on where we could drive and park. So we took the free shuttle system which worked great, except we caught COVID on it. Knocked us out for 10 days. Walked to Bass Harbor Lighthouse from our RV Park. Got the close view, but missed the rocks view. Also, stayed at the other area of the Park- the Schoodic Peninsula and was a very nice campground and less crowded coastal views

Visited Acadia this past summer with my girlfriend. We did everything you did minus Precipice Trail (it was closed) and Beech Mountain. In addition, we saw the sunset on Cadillac Mountain and went over to the Schoodic peninsula for a night of camping. When I did the Beehive Trail, it was so foggy that it was like climbing through a cloud, with absolutely no views, but no height trepidation either.

I live in Boston so Maine isn't that far and we'd go visit in summer and ski in winter, but bar harbor is amazing, a place called otter cliffs, granite ledges with the waves crashing against is beautiful, the view from Cadillac mtn overlooking the ocean is incredible, on the road up the mtn they have little pull off spots that have signs that show how the glaciers carved the land, very informative, camping in the park is great too, salt air, pristine land. Good luck.
