Throwback Monday Reading - Dave & Buster’s

This Monday reading from July 22nd, 2019 has real estate in our heads. We can’t walk or drive by a Dave and Buster’s without thinking of the man who is obsessed with Dave and Buster’s, the man who says “We haven’t been to Buster’s in forever” if he hasn’t gone in over a week. Did his girlfriend leave him because his obsession of Buster’s was such a strain on their relationship? Is he still obsessed with D&B’s? Did she take our advice? DOES ANYBODY KNOW THIS KID???

WE WILL FLY YOU OUT.......maybe......LOL I always love how Big Cat always puts a positive spin on every one of these stories. Most podcasts would just go on an endless rant about how weird some of the people in these type of stories are and make fun of them, but BC and PFT always finds a way to add humor while also humanizing the characters It's reasons like this, why Big Cat/PFT are so likeable/relatable, and why they generally get along with everyone in/out of Barstool.

The first time I ever went to D&B was when I was around 13 or so. I went with my best friend to his dad’s house for a week and apparently his dad and stepmom went to D&B almost every weekend to drink and play slots. Idk if it’s still the same way or not but, if I remember correctly, back then when you put money on a card it gave you a certain amount of credits for the gambling machines, and a certain amount for arcade games. Well, his dad and stepmom never used the arcade credits so we had a gigantic stockpile of credits to play with. It was like playing with an unlimited card and it was fucking awesome. I’ll never forget that.
