This was written for twin sisters who were big supporters of Jimmy Eat World and Weezer. They died on their way home from a concert. They ran online message boards for the bands in the 90s and would always sign off with “Hear you me”.

Yeah, I cry everytime I listen to this song cause it reminds my of my dad. It's the kind of song that's beautiful the first time you hear it but becomes kinda heartbreaking after you lose someone.

This is the song I had played at my dad’s funeral. It still stings but in a comforting way.

Man what a throwback, takes me back to the A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff from 2004. Good memories of a simpler time 🥲

You made me cry with this 🥲 so sorry about your brother may his soul continue to Rest In Peace. 🙏🏻 The live doesn’t hit the same but they do sound good live, on your own check out the studio version for it to hit you. This song reminds me of my grandma for a lot of reasons the parts, the parts “what would you think of me now? So luck so strong so proud” because after she died I got my work life together and finally got a great job and started moving up in the world. Also the part where they say “and if you were with me tonight, I’d sing to you just one more time” I used to sing for her a lot when I was young and she always wanted me to be a star she was always so supportive but it never happened, and I sang for her when she was in the hospital 🥲. She had a stroke and couldn’t speak she was like in a vegetative state, but I know she heard me. Last part, “A song for a heart so big, God wouldn’t let it live” because I truly believe she was so much better than this world and God took her so she can be at peace, she had a rough life but that’s a whole other story, it was her time so that line gives me some peace. God bless your grandmother it’s amazing to have a close relationship with a grandparent they are so wise and loving unconditionally. Thank you so much again I truly appreciated this this was amazing! 🙏🏻😊☺️🥲
