You should watch the live Japanese version at Tokyo Dome. Jonghyun sang with all of his heart. A good r&b song from them is Excuse Me Miss. All of their lives are pretty much perfect. All of their albums are so good too.

SHINee is most well-known for their legendary live performances, especially at their concerts. They're also called CDNee, because their live singing (even while doing all those complex choreography) sounds like, if not better than, their studio versions. Jonghyun's long notes during the live performances are mind-blowing!! However, as far as I know, it was Onew (the guy with the fur coat) who actually held the longest note on a live stage by a k-pop idol; over 40 seconds. The clip cuts off when he was 40 seconds into the note. Also, almost all solo stuff of Taemin (the guy with long hair) reminds me of MJ :D He's considered to be one of the best dancers ever in k-pop industry. SHINee are amazing honestly. This is the mv and song that got me into Kpop. If you want to hear how their voices were made for R&B buckle up because here are my recommendations for you to listen in your spare time (or make a reaction maybe): 1. As a group: Rescue, Farewell My Love, Symptoms, Excuse Me Miss (watch or listen their live version from their concert SHINee World IV), One Minute Back, Chocolate, Hold You, Talk To You, Hit Me, Romeo + Juliette (and tbh their entire mini album Rome aka THE r&b album of their discography), Love Like Oxygen, Romantic, Graze, One For Me, In My Room, Best Place and Replay. Their fist album and EP (The SHINee World and Romeo) are basically entirely r&b because they debuted as the r&b group of SM, one of the firsts in kpop. Later on they dived into a lot of more genres, but they were marketed and put together as a group because their voices suited r&b so well. And until this day they retain that r&b flavor in everything they do. 2. As soloists: their two soloists are Jonghyun and Taemin, which have voices and vocals very r&b style. From Jonghyun I recommend Moon, Hallelujah, Grease, Cocktail, RED, Fine and Hot Times from the SM The Ballad project in which he was included a few years back. From Taemin I'd say almost all his songs because he favors r&b a lot in his solo work (at least in his Korean albums) but some great ones are Already, Drip Drop (which im still not sure what genre is entirely), Ace, Play Me, Thirsty, Until Today and Day and Night. That's pretty much it. Like a crash course of the r&b side of SHINee... and that's only like 1/5 of what their music career has been over ten years. I'm sorry for this long post lol but after years of being their fan, I can confidently say that SHINee is one of the best boy groups in the music industry in recent times. Their music, talent and work ethics are top-notch always.
