Throwback to Summer, Snapper Blues Blitz, 43 Ocean Convertible???

While surfing my local wave I saw lots of herring gulls working just outside my inlet.
With not much time until a scheduled dinner with my closest friends and family I elected to forego boat work or being responsible/ready for a nice dinner in Atlantic City, New Jersey and opt to go see what was under the birds
We catch dozens of small snapper bluefish.
Although small they put up a good fight and I will never shy away from watching a true blitz

South Jersey shore at its finest. Surf n fish during the day. Dinner out at Ac. After party on the boat. Living in Florida now, I enjoy it, but watching this video reminds me. ocean city Somers point AC will always be home. I could literally feel and smell the air in the AC inlet. The sounds of the slot machine and cool casino air conditioning walking threw the door at hard rock. Great video. Captured the essence of south Jersey living. If someone asked me what south Jersey is like i would show them that video

Summer can't come soon enough! Was in town for the AC boat show and had dinner at the Chart House. Was so surprised at the number of boats in the water! Do you haul for the winter?

Tsunami Slimwave. That rod has served me well for 5 or 6 years now. I've had to replace 4 of the guides, but that's no big deal. The single legs eventually get touched by rust.

Yeah that boat is awesome. It's a 35 Henriques Flybridge. One of the boats I considered when moving up from my last boat (34 Phoenix)

None of us remember catching our first fish (if we started young). For me it must have been a blowfish from the wall at the Manasquan Inlet when I was four years old (because I saw a picture of this that was taken by my dad at the time). Back in the late 60's when you could catch a burlap bag full of them.
