(we should get it back soon), so all the clips are from the 2/3 days I played this build before they disable it. **DISCLAIMER: Throwing hatchet can be challenging, especially at medium/long range ** But in the same proportion, satisfying 😎 (try to keep enemies slowed to proc 200STR perk, +10% damage on stunned, slowed, or rooted enemies) We have Net shot and Social Distancing for it. We also have a lot of Exhaust and stam recover with hatchet (10 on crit) + dodge for 38 stam after hit abilities (apply to dodge in any direction and we pretty much spam abilities) Don't forget to also use it as a melee weapon in some situations! it still hit hard and slow down people on hit (like any melee hit) Next build, VG/Throwing (that one is nasty 6.5k hit) I need to finish the spear/musket build guide, but I'm expecting several changes on that build for S4 so I'll wait for the patch.

Just found your channel and I'm glad to see some quality off meta builds. I've always loved being an off-meta gamer as I don't wish to be like everyone else and the best revenge is to not become like your enemy (I get killed by all the meta builds but I just don't desire joining them) Just returned to New World this season so excited to try some of your builds! I remember when the game first launched I was the only healer that I ever saw running LS/Hatchet because I thought I could provide heals while cancelling others like Ana from Overwatch (which I played a lot of) I found the Abyss a few weeks ago and noticed everyone using it with FS so I thought I'd try it with VG instead which is fitting for it being a void weapon. Please keep these builds coming into the next season!

First of all, Ty for your comment mate! ❤ Second, yeah I like play my weird builds, pretty much are made with gear accessible to everyone and still, with some practice are capable to humble some meta-toxic-keyboard warriors ?) xD For Abyss u could use it with heavy gloves artifact + VG. Or like my spear/musket but with GA int instead of spear :D And next season with the new changes to INT gems, it will open the door for even more combinations!

There is another option that I didn't include here but u could use Artifact hatchet and a full dmg BB (like the classic attu/KE/enchanated) pretty much the same build but with Shrapnel Blast instead of Blast Shot or Mortar Charge. That version is super fun too, u spam throwing and bb nuke hard.

Just got the Freya artifact and remember this build. Wanted to see what your thoughts were using that and another BB?

It could work tho. Freya's problem is the lack of dmg, but u gain tons of Cooldown reduction. But you could use Deep River BB (attu/keenly empower/enchanted) and gain bb dmg. So with pesti I use throwing as main weapon for dmg, with Freya's/Deep River BB, ur BB is the one that will hit harder.

How important are the exhaust perks. Net shot and throw

Not mandatory, but really nice to have. If u have to choose 1, Exhausting Infected Throw is stronger (last 6 sec and net 4). It makes the difference during the fight because we have good stamina recover with crits and dodge cost reduction and they will have problems to keep dodging to close the gap or running away. Also, if u reduce them the stam recover all the time, people stam themselves a lot.

Ey bro, sorry for the late reply 🙏 Freyas is very good for this build if u have a full dmg bb, so u can run it like a normal bb tree and use Hatchet for utility. With freyas we can spam abilities a lot. But I don't have a good bb haha There is a named one to craft with enchanated/ke/attu but i need farm it. This is like a cheap version, more focus on full disease and mainly a throwing hatchet playstyle. Like I don't even craft the last perk on my bb xD But I'll try the Freya's version as soon as I get the upgrade BiS bb :D And thx for ur comment! ♥️ I just uploaded another throwing video, this time with VG artifact, if u want to check it out, maybe u like that build too, I'm having a blast playing it!

I would love to play builds like this but I’m 170 ping so weapons like musket bb and throwing hatchet just dont work

Unfortunately play this build with high ping could be tough. Throwing hatchet is kind of a slow projectile and the fall of the projectile at medium/long distance make it very hard to land it, even with low ping 😕 The windchill build could work better with high ping. or not? hmm idk haha maybe🤔 U still need connect a couple of abilities to make the combos but the aiming is way less painful than throwing hatchet xD

Gem slot and u can use any elemental gem on it with 8% DoT ( I would try to avoid fire dmg). That's a good increase in dmg and also runeglass helps to charge hearthrune

Yeah it is, but I prefer the throwing hatchet/VG for arena. I'll upload a video with that build soon. With vg/throwing we apply rend cap and we have way more dmg too.

Ran throwing hatchet and bb all of last season, tried it with ice gauntlet in the S4 PTR and it's the most toxic thing I have ever played

Yey, glad to read there are more bb/throwing enjoyers! ❤ And indeed, that was the plan haha, the next video will be with VG artifact and then we'll get the IG, and I can't wait to add it to the throwing build 😂 So many builds to make with that IG📈 Maybe I'll first update my windchill build and then throwing/IG, 🤔 idk the order tbh, I want to make so many builds in S4. The int gems are nuts too 🤩

Yeah frfr haha Throwing hatchet it's the most difficult projectile to shoot by far. I really need to focus or I miss like, way too much haha It definitely doesn't fall into the "relaxing playstyle" category xD But in the other hand it's satisfying when it works

There are 2 main methods I use: - look at what people think it's bad and make it work (windchill for example) - Review what I think is a stupid idea and try to make it work haha (my old Musket/Spear, Musket/FS builds) I think that 2 ways usually work very well 😂

All my respect for people trying different things 🤝:D I tried FS/musket like 5 months ago and then just a few days like 3 months ago, and was soo funny, with all the new changes and artifacts it should be even better! U can NUKE people haha how are u playing it, with mecha or sync musket? I should have some gear in storage to give it a try in S4 🤔

​@@ThaCousinI made a hybrid. Armor is full void harness. Gems are fire and void dmg. Musket has abyss attun, crippling powder, keenly jagged. Ring has fire dmg. My thought was that both weapons have fire damage to scale with skills but musket also hits with void which noone resists. One powder applies bleed, slow, burn, corrosion 😂 should be way better with new gems

I tried but isn't that good for PvP as main weapon full throwing builds. Who made it clearly do not play throwing hatchet haha BUT u can use a classic full dmg BB, split stats in favor of BB, and use the hatchet artifact as a support/second weapon, because the dmg is kind of meh, the main thing about that hatchet it's the low CD's. If at some point I get the named BB to upgrade it (enchanted/attu/KE) I'll make a video with that version, for now the next one is Throwing/VG artifact, that one hit hard AF.

Pestilence is def not off-meta, But I don't see much people out there throwing hatchets :D VG/IG is super meta, but use it for a main Windchill build is not
