Thrown Beer Can Damages Red Sox World Series Trophy

A wild throw damaged the Red Sox’s World Series trophy during a victory parade through downtown Boston. It's a Boston tradition to throw beer at victory parades but onlookers could only watch in horror as a full can was thrown from the crowd and struck the trophy. It broke some of the flags atop the trophy. A 19-year-old fan was taken into custody after the incident. Red Sox manager Alex Cora was also left soaked in beer from another can thrown by a fan. #InsideEdition

Look closely. It's actually not the can that broke the trophy, it's one of the guys who tried to catch it who caught his hand in it and broke it. The can hit a different set of flags and never did the damage. You can even see the trophy bent out of shape just before the can collides with it. Also, the can was probably never gonna hit the trophy if it wasn't for that guy pushing it.
