I just bought this mod. I'm always trying out new mods and seeing what works best for me. As for the rubber spacers and skateboard bushing mod, if those are the exact spacers you used, the reason it feels so stiff is those spacers have a shore rating of 85. You need the softer spacers with a shore rating of 45. That's what I'm currently using

how does this mod compare to the rubbers with a45 (i also have them currently and use them with the red spring, but it feels like the red spring stops to abruptly).

@@madcapx I like the mod far more than the a45 spacers. With the rubbers (for me anyway) the feeling is too linear. With the DNut mod, you get a more progressive stiffness and I find braking to be more consistent through muscle memory. The rubbers though are far better than the stock springs. It’s all about personal preference to me regarding the mod or rubber spacers. Eventually I’m getting rid of my TLC-M pedals for the Simagic P2000 pedal set just because I find the Thrustmaster pedals too short for my liking and they suck with my driving shoes, but it is just a basic load cell set and good for what it is.

Hey Dave. I am surprised you are using those pedals, but if they work for you that is great. I switched from my T500 with G27 pedals and a great brake mod "Tru Brake" to a Fanatec CSL Elite 13 months ago. I bought the CSL Elite pedals but never liked the clutch or Formula style so I bought the V3 inverted with the brake performance kit. Absolutely love the pedals, especially the clutch. I do still use my two TH8A's one sequential with Ricmotech shift kit, and my H pattern one with the Clixbeetle GT shift improver. That has worked perfectly for over a year with the ball bearings and springs it is great value. I still drive on PC and PS4, I try and catch you in the DR2 rally, I have beaten you on a couple of sectors, but overall you are killing it. I finally bought a couple of the Fanatec QR1's because I swap my wheel several times a day, I have a 14" for truck driving and a 13" for racing, yes an inch does make a difference. I come along and watch a show from time to time here. Not much, since I am not an iRacer. I do enjoy your DR2 league with the difficulty level being turned up it allows my slower, safer style to do okay.

Do the elastomers get softer with use? I just received this kit and even the softer elastomers do not have as much travel as yours appears to have.

Which number spacers did you use from the mod kit?

What's the difference between the first one shown in Etsy and the Deluxe version?
@patty1086 Жыл бұрын
deluxe has everything from standard and pro v2 kits - from very soft to very firm. pro kits don't offer the softer elastomers

@patty1086 I see,thanks. Is it worth getting the deluxe, or are the soft ones not of much use? I understand its relative, but Im coming from using a Fanatec csr elite loadcell and G27 with Ricmotek loadcell too, both stiff.

Someone having pedal troubles during a Mustang league race. I wonder who that could be? 🤔
