Ordered the mod yesterday, luckily found your video now I feel better because you explain exactly what I hoped this mod work. Now time to wait (I live in Italy). Thanks!

how is the mod?
@theonlylolking3 жыл бұрын
@@Daisudori You will need really strong legs. Even Dori_N's setup is very heavy. I mean I guess his showcasing that with 100 force, 100 RAW = 100 FINAL should be a clue, but it is a huge difference from T3PA and even the heaviest T-LCM. The mod is very smooth and progressive, but again. You will need strong legs.

In the final example of double red springs, just adjust the slider thats set at 100 in your example, and you can dial in any amount of braking % you want at the end of travel.

Nice review but I wish you would have shown us how you change them out on the load cell. (My T-lcm brake pedal broke so I have it held together with tie straps and electrical tape.)
@mrcael1887 Жыл бұрын
I know this video is old, but I hope you can answer. It's interesting to watch the different options be applied and watch the pedal get to 100% with less and less travel. Is that because of the loadcell? If so, how does that actually work? Why is it that you travel less but hit 100%? Is it not based on how far the silver rod goes down?

I just ordered these and hope they were worth the money! This was a great review video for it being your first! What kind of well is that? Is that one of those Simcore wheels?
@DoriN123 жыл бұрын
I've been using them for about 4 months now and they started to feel a bit clunky, like the travel has gotten a bit choppy, I've yet to check if it's because they tore on the inside, but I suspect that might be the case. That being said, they still do the job, and I have a spare set if need be. My wheel is Thrustmaster 488 challenge rim, on a ts-pc base.

Hello, how long did this mod take to arrive? Did you pay any import fees? Did the break pedal get progressive enough to justify 65$ for 4 pieces of rubber?
@ChrisTingman3 жыл бұрын
Depends where you are. In north America probably a week give or take, other continents might take a little longer. They put like 1/3rd of the 60$ towards shipping so whatever the fastest option is around 20 they go with that. They're very responsive to messages just reach out to them and ask

You have to use the included USB cable. You can't calibrate it with just the T-LCM connected to your wheelbase via the RJ12 connector.

Wow! Maybe I got a later version of the T-LCM because I have 2 red, preload with 3 washers and I tap the end of travel at exactly 100% of brake force (yes, brake force 100). The preload is entirely limited with 3 washers. I really had to push down hard to get the springs into the pedal.

buy yourself a set of m6 rubber spacers off ebay they will be far too hard to use as they are 90A hardness. Then bond them down to a flat board and make a small plastic wall around to make a mould tool, buy some casting silicon about 1-2kg kit pour into the mould tool degass if you got a degasser. allow to cure then peel back the silicon mould. Buy some urethane casting rubber ideally in 200g kits buy 30A shore, 40A shore and 50A shore, then you can mix and pour into the silicon mould, spray some glass (tough) or smooth plastic with wax or beeswax and lay on top of the tool to ensure a flat surface...and voila a ready made mould to cast as many as you need in various hardness. Trust me these will be FAR superior feel to 3D printed parts. These will be fully cross linked polymers NOT layer fused printed parts this will give an even better feel. Want any advice ask i am an experienced caster.

As I started reading this, it looked like a bomb making manual haha. I would love to test those out though for sure, did you make any?
@dominicrobertdillonbrown99383 жыл бұрын
@@DoriN12 Hi buddy no I got the spacers and already have silicon will order some PU next week but am finishing off my rig this week, there is a big difference in cast polymers compared to printed ones, mainly lifespan under high compressive loads printed ones have spaces and microvoids all be it very small where as cast ones are fully cross linked closed manifold units so over time wont degrade and also should feel more regulated under load due to correct mechanical properties
@DoriN123 жыл бұрын
Good luck with building the rig! And when you do get around to making them, I'd be happy to purchase them off ya, be interesting to see the difference between printed and mold type mods.

You know how to avoid the "I don't know, I'm not very good at words" situation? Write an outline of what you plan to say, beforehand. Identify some applicable phrases and adjectives that apply to the product, and use them when the time comes. Take it for what it's worth.
