One of the best tlcm review videos on youtube. This video answered a lot of my questions about tlcm especially comparison it with g29. Thanks a lot. I'm getting one this weekend.

You know you are the only person that actually lists dimensions ? I did a google search that shows the length at 480mm. How stupid is that, they list the product BOX dimensions and not the actual product itself ! Thank you sir, I can actually measure and confirm it will fit my rig because of your video. Kudos.

Bit late to the party here but I just found your video. Having abused my T3PA-Pro pedals (the brake now creaks) I was thinking of upgrading to the T-LCM pedals but wasn't sure. After watching this, You've convinced me to get these so nice one. Thank you for breaking it all down and describing things in such good detail. You've gained another subscriber for sure.

A couple of things: First, I'm new to sim racing, and don't use the clutch pedal much (mostly play F1). So these pedals made it easy to swap the clutch and throttle springs, as I like a stiffer throttle... But of course it's all about the brake pedal. Love that you can mix & match springs. Like most people say, these don't make you faster necessarily; but they make you more consistent with your breaking because it's easier to measure how much pressure you applying as opposed to travel on the pedal... I'm on a portable setup: Playseat Challenge w/ T300RS GT for PS5. I need to move my cockpit up & down the stairs every time I use them, so I removed the ballast from the pedals to make it light as possible...

Thanks for watching. Yeah Sim Gear pricing has been a bit crazy in the last year and a half. I have still been seeing some at the $200 pricepoint but as stock runs out at the main retailers 3rd party sellers are gonna start jacking up the price. Then there's the price increase from Thrustmaster which seems to be about $50-100. But I'm not sure about that. Best of luck and happy racing!

Hello Sir, Happy New Year 2024. I have a question for you I’m in Iracing just purchased a Thrustmaster T818 DD with my pedals that are T LCM. Should I use the USB to PC or wheel base to pedals? Thank you sir I like your content keep up the good work.
@BallisticTech Жыл бұрын
IIRC when plugged into the wheelbase the brake pedal resolution is limited to 12-bit, 4096 steps instead of the full 16-bit or 65k steps. The tuning of some things like dead zones and force factor might have to be done via USB. Generally on PC ppl plug every peripheral in independently. The main reason I've seen ppl not do so is if they're limited on USB or switch between PC and console frequently.

I currently have t300rs gt kit. Looking to upgrade the pedals. This is currently $188 less then the fanatec clubsport v3. Would you go with v3 over the tlcm with that difference in price?

Hey there, I just got the new T-LCM pedal set for the PS5...I am having trouble getting the pedals to work...I have setup the calibration on my pc but the pedals operating properly ingame on GT Sport...accelerator revs the car but the car doesn't move...also the brake doesn't engage at all...I noticed in this video you mention the mode required...possibly I haven't got the right mode initiated...a tutorial on that would be awesome...any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated....thanks in advance

If they had the design and build of the the TPA Pro Pedals then they would be perfect. I prefer the more premium look of the TPA Pros.

Could you try making them inverted, granted you game on a PC? Should be able to just re-bind the pedals in-game and I'm curious how these feel when inverted. - Twisted.

Great video. Do you think, if someone is able to wait a few more months a saving some more, it would be worth getting the Fanatec v3 over the tlcm? Or is the difference between them not that significant?

If you consider only performance, Get T-LCM (ASAP). If you consider luxury / metal feel / build quality too, Get V3.

They are not budget but due to plastic they're little cheaper than full metal new CSL pedals which have hall sensors and LC too. I want more premium pedals from TM
@BallisticTech3 жыл бұрын
I talked about the differences/commonalities with the CSL Pedals in the video. There's no LC available for the CSL Pedals yet. They announced them but have not released them afaik. They're aiming for the LC bundle to be $200 but there's no exact pricing yet either. The default pedal faces on the CSL pedals are plastic iirc. So not quite all metal in that regard. There's no lower priced pedal set with LC brake (with or without hall effect sensors on the other pedals) available compared to the original MSRP of the T-LCMs. That counts as budget imo.
@EnzoRacer13 жыл бұрын
@@BallisticTech about "full metal" - metal is important for core case of pedal set and for places where pedals are contacting with case. Plastic faceplates are not problem imo for new CSL pedals. Btw imo it's strange to make review for T-LCM so late - they're on the market 1,5 years already. Price of T-LCM is ok but I'll prefer full-metal T-LCM v.2.0 for 250$ :) And I like if I'll can choose how many pedals to buy - 2 or 3, as for new CSL
@BallisticTech3 жыл бұрын
@@EnzoRacer1 I unfortunately can't time travel so I have to make videos on products when I buy them or receive them for review. I think it's good for videos to come out on products later in their life. The landscape and market changes and its helpful to provide context to people learning about products. In my video I talk about the CSL Pedals and how they relate to the T-LCM (briefly). None of the videos on the T-LCMs that came out a 1.5 years ago will talk about the CSL Pedals at all. Just the CSL Elites which are discontinued. I'm not saying theses are better than the CSL Pedals. I'm explaining what they are, how they work and that for the original MSRP they provide pretty good value. The CSL Pedals + LC might be miles better than these for around the same price when the LC upgrade comes out. But for not if someone had to buy a new set of pedals with load cell brake, and hall effect gas/clutch today for less than $300. This is the only option. It's the only option for those features at any price point today as far as I'm away of. Still no pre-order or final date for the CSL Pedals LC kit.

Thrustmaster loadcell seemes to be better quality then the CSL.
