Thruxton - Crash and Action - BARC Weekend - July 2024

The action from what is sadly my only race meeting in July... That's right, I'm going on a little summer break with nothing on now until August (however I might try to go to JDM Combe for an action day in a couple weeks).
A pretty good weekend over all, I would have preferred to have been at the end chicane but for these bigger events you'd probably have to get up at the crack of dawn to see that viewing area...
Right off the bat Saturday morning we were prepared for Sundays church break after one of the Olivers fancied a closer look at what goes on behind the barriers. Other than a few broken ribs Stuart was okay, but same cannot be said about the truck and the wall, with an hour and a half delay to the day required to sort it all out. The rest of the weekend saw the most erratic weather conditions, bringing with it some slippery action, but main thing is we all went home in one piece.

Cracked ribs but smiling as per usual with Stuart Oliver, and back in the paddock the same evening. Did not race again that weekend ​@@camsmith6034

2 broken ribs, 2 cracked ribs, slightly deflated lung and a brused spleen - but released thst day - needs to take it easy for week.

Honestly more luck than anything. Been watching racing for a while and can sometimes tell if they're off line or too fast etc...
