Michael Pare, Rick Morannis, Willem Dafoe..!! They all looked so young.😂

Pare had to be restrained from killing Moranis. Rick was used to doing comedy and did not like that he was not able to ad lib. He kept making jokes about Pare. But later Pare said they are now friends.

One of my favorite Walter Hill films. It was supposed to be part of a trilogy but that was cancelled after it bombed at the box office. Now it's a cult classic. Oh, and those weren't pick axes in Tom and Raven's duel. Those are railroad hammers used to drive steel spikes into cross ties. Blunt force trauma from hell.

I have always Loved this movie. They all were so young in this. But the one that I was really hot over was Amy Madigan (McCoy). She was my kind of Woman. She never really got the star parts that she should have gotten. The one that became the biggest star was the bad guy, Willem Dafoe. He's still a very busy actor. I always wished they had done a "Streets Of Fire 2."

That was a good older movie. Movies back then weren't CGI made so fight scenes and such were almost realistic in order to pull off the reality of it. By the way if you click the dislike button twice you basically undislike your dislike making it neutral but im sure you already knew that.

The song "I can Dream About You" from this movie became quite a hit in the 80s. Other songs were notable and just as likeable. The main theme "Streets of Fire" seems to have a close affinity to the "Footloose" movie soundtrack called "Searching out for a Hero" sang by Bonnie Tyler. The soundtracks in this movie are just as good, imo.

@@hardrock1826 I was at the street scenes of the gang's territory and the show with the Blasters. The street scenes were filmed in an abandoned old commercial area and the gang's club was in a former wharehouse they rigged for a sound stage. Lots of hours and food ( went into triple time) $40 plus a day and endless food. Saw Lee , from Fear, and he told to go to the Hollywood unemployment dept and get vouchers. When triple time kicked in we got big pay. It was a good job. If gone to get strings that day I would have missed it
