I have to say I have a question your expertise as a dental hygienist as you do not have the training and schooling to talk about this serious problem of thumb sucking. You kept using phrases like should be this could be that should work for these products that you mention. You also mentioned that you did an extensive look into the devices and yet you come up with one that inhibits your child's arm movement as a good option to prevent them from putting their fingers or Thumb in their mouth. Let's not even think about the fact that you're putting a device on their arm with zip ties that could harm your child. You also found another device that is not specific to your individual child just a random size out there for any age between the age of two to four which is a very big difference in size for your child's hands.
