hey im pretty new at Ue4 i followed your video , but some reason i cant see the lightning effect does having a post process volume over my level have any effect or would it still be visible ?

Hey, having a post process volume shouldn't effect it as I also had one in the video. Can you check to see if the code is firing off? I.e. can you hear the thunder, or can you place a "print string" in the code, test it again and see if anything is written on your screen in the top left. Hope this helps debug it :)

if you're still interested, you'd have to add "collision" to your rain emitter and in distance mode you have to select "distance field" instead of "scene depth"

awesome tutorial. QUick question. How do i get this blueprint to start playing with a sequencer ? I need to make a couple of shots which should have lightning strikes in them. But i want the blueprint to start at the same time the sequencer shot starts. Thanks.
