There's something about being under a metal roof while holding onto a big chunk of metal sawmill that I don't find appealing during a thunderstorm. 😁 Oh, and using a metal cant hook too. Time to go inside when the thunder starts.

I just got to use a carbide tipped blade on my mill for the first time last weekend. I think it's an absolute game changer.

You milled out some pretty nice boards there. Too bad that log was so bowed. I had a couple cherry logs given to me and they had some nice grain to the lumber. I put the lumber in an auction and hope to make a little gas money. Ed

I think I sawed it up just in time. If I had left it any longer that redrot would have been much worse.

What was the liquid you poured on the blade prior to first cut?

It doesn't matter, they are all pretty much the same when it comes to sawmill band blades.
