Doesn't change the outcome, but at 45:00 Zopandrel has reach and could've blocked the attack, and when the boardwipe hit shortly after you could've sacrificed two creatures and paid the life to make Zopandrel indestructible.

Also Zopandrel doubles the power and toughness on each combat so the token created by skullspore would have been a 20/20 😂 so many triggers on one spell

I built a Yargle & Multani deck and put The Gitrog, Ravenous Rider in the 99, but good lawd I may want to switch this out. Great video!

Excited to see if you brew one of these guys! Some of the OTJ commanders are CRACKED! Do you think Gitrog could see CEDH play?

The amount of cards drawn by Gitrog and the huge ramp was incredible but I think the unfortunate thing for cEDH is there isn't a great wincon for golgari, you have chain of smog and witherbloom/professor onyx or hulk piles that would work with it. Gitrog letting you sacrifice protean hulk is nice but it relies on going to combat, also drawing something from your hulk combo is the worst. I think it would be fun to see how far into a fringe build you could go with it though!

I've now watched beyond the first 4 turns, and spotted a couple of things on T5. 1. You would've had +1/+1 for the from the Enlightened Tutor on T5. 2. It appears you paid 1, AND tapped the Sensei's Diving Top to draw a card. Having that extra mana could have activated Scepter and exiled the Gitrog Monster and prevented that draw 18 turn. I'm still very happy with how Kellan demonstrated it's control side, but it got outshone by the lands Gitrog put into play.

I think the deck gave a good showing but Gitrog just generates so much card advantage and getting all those lands into play makes it unstoppable. Unfortunately for Christian, I had loads of Tamiyo's Safekeeping effects in my hand anyway
