My game store had 1 copy of chrome edition. I got it because of you all. This game is amazing. The chrome box is just the best way to play this. I would hope they make more for people.

Watching this to learn how to play and I see Tom's last car went into a pit trap. These don't instantly kill cars as far as I can tell. Tom should have gotten a chance to roll the shooting die to see if he was eliminated.

They do kill your car. It's impassible, if you get shunted into one it's eliminated. Just like if you get ran off the road (the top/down border of the map)

I bought this the other day.....but there are no 'characters' in edition. Are the characters an expansion ?

Yes, they are from one of the expansions & also included in the maximum chrome edition.

What's the ruling on the helicopter? If you called it once and it's sitting on the board, can you call it again?

You can use it every time you assign a dice to the air strike command section regardless of where it is.

Q: Can you place the chopper in the same space it started in, i.e. not move it? A: Yes.

Q: Where can I put the chopper? A: no plastic, no cardboard (and not in an impassable space). Also, choppers must always be placed facing the front of the board in the direction the cars are moving. We messed up on the facing of our choppers, going thematic instead of digging through rules and forums

In the movie, guys would spray their mouths with gold spray paint which is essentially spray meth and they would go ham for a while haha. @@chizmw

30:55 a reference sheet showing all damage tiles would be essential here to streamline game play. Rulebook reference time kills the tempo of a game.

1:20:20 once mills hit the last tile, wouldn’t the entry tile go, killing the person on it?

Is that the right time stamp? I’m not sure what you are talking about here because mills isn’t moving at this time? But regardless they never extended the map so why would the entry time go? The entry tile only leaves if somebody moves off extending the map. But since Tom was dead there was no extending the map as the first person off automatically wins.

@@KMReviews well, my question was made while watching. They were discussing extending the map near the beginning of the game. Compared to other games that I played. When one gets on the last tile, the next one would flip up and in this game, I thought it would flip and the first tile would go. Obviously, it didn’t happen.

The original Thunder Road did not have a scrolling board.

We didn't find Blast Off too bad. The damage token tells you the dice to use, and it's essentially just a ramp jump.

This seems amazing with the upgrades and characters,but without them (base game) it seems like it would be kind of dull.

On Zee's last move he uncovered, and drove through, an off-road mud hazard. Then he applied the road die (only available if a car moved entirely on road spaces) for the win. Was that a legal move since the off-road mud space is not a normal road?

He didn’t apply the road die. Instead, he used nitro on his character board (with a 1 die) to get the extra space to the finish line.
