LaughingOwlKiller Not that I disagree with you but why do I see Mezco and NECA products at Toys R US for random lines that nobody really cares about like "Mortal Combat","Pacific Rim",and etc.? You mean to tell me we can't get a collector's Thundercats line in that section?

DrPhilGood Huxtable those are more relevant than Thundercats. You say "no one cares about them" but that is far from fact. Mortal Kombat is still current and Pacific Rim was a hit film. Thundercats hasn't been relevant as a whole in almost 30 years as the 2011 reboot sadly wasn't well received. The only people who want Tcats are we collectors who grew up with them while something like Mortal kombat has "fresh" fans due to the new games

unclassified The difference is G.I. Joe never went away. They still had comics and I have not seen a year go by with out Joes in stores so there was never a gap in the property like there was with Thundercats, kids were still getting into Joes because they would see them in stores. By the time Thundecats began reappearing young kids had no idea who they were so only the small number of adults who grew up with them AND were collectors (because remember many abandoned toys when they became adults) were the only ones buying it.

I LOVE these figures. The paint apps on my are actually really good. With AMAZING Thundercat figures like this finally coming out, it would be a crime if the Thundercats Classics line did not continue to at least complete the original Thundercat crew and even better, continue the line beyond that. Hopefully we will hear an update at New York Comic Con. Thanks again for the great review! Love that they come with the Spaceboards and stands! NICE!

Great review Dan! Almost perfect figures,but they just had to mess up Wilykat's right shoulder! It's supposed to be painted brown to match the rest of his costume! Can't wait for Lion-O!!

Boy, the kittens' accessories included in that SDCC '16 pack must be from later seasons of the show because they're nowhere to be seen in the first half of season one which is currently all I have on DVD. They get the spaceboards early on, but they're still relying on the little slings they fire the trick pellets full of butterflies and such with. It's a shame Mattel dropped this line so early. The Four Horsemen did some great work. Oh well. Thanks for the video. Have fun at this year's SDCC, Dan!

Not bad, but could be so much better. There's something seriously off w/the head-sculpts & the eye paint on Wily Kit is a little "derped". Also, it might be the lighting, but the paint on Wily Kat's skin is a little too tanned.

WOW These Action Figures and Cover Box are AMAZING. I like them A LOT. Wish to see the rest of the ThunderCats like these really soon. There is 1 thing about Wily Kit though, I think her Left Eye is bigger than her Right eye.

Dan is one of the only people to put the correct Cat on the correct hoverboard.

The new figures are well articulated and sculpted, but there are mistakes on the painting. Wilykit's lips should white ,not tan, her skin color is lighter, not tan, her shirt is too long and her lasso is pink instead of red. On Wilykat, his tunic should not have any openings on the sides and his right sleeve should be brown, not tan and the black panther head on his Thundercat insignia is too small. It need to have a better painting.

Very cool.. I still have my vintage Liono and Tygra.. Mattel surely knows how to take my money.. I skipped the 2011 versions even though that show was really good.. Who knows though? If these sell well enough, they might make variants to take more of my money..
