The best for picnic in Thailand area for me is gai yang, papaya salad, beef salad(larb), tom saap (tender beef soup), sticky rice, thai beef jerky, grilled meatballs with spicy tamarind sauce, moo satay, and of course the grilled fish with rice vermicelli (khanom jeen). I grow cilantro all the time and I NEVER remember to keep the roots for the next time a recipe calls for them! I think I need to put a note on my front door or something. This looked so delicious. Love your cute little friend at the end.
